That musical was based only on the book and it was not associated with the 1961 film or Disney Theatrical at all. Thank you for using VisualEditor and sharing your ideas with the developers.

Hello, Jedi94,

The Editing team is asking very experienced editors like you for your help with VisualEditor. The team has a list of top-priority problems, but they also want to hear about small problems. These problems may make editing less fun, take too much of your time, or be as annoying as a paper cut. The Editing team wants to hear about and try to fix these small things, too.

You can share your thoughts by clicking this link. You may respond to this quick, simple, anonymous survey in your own language. If you take the survey, then you agree your responses may be used in accordance with these terms. This survey is powered by Qualtrics and their use of your information is governed by their privacy policy.

More information (including a translateable list of the questions) is posted on wiki at mw:VisualEditor/Survey 2015. If you have questions, or prefer to respond on-wiki, then please leave a message on the survey's talk page.

The Muppet fanatic

I see we've been dealing with this dynamic IP, who has some fascination with the Muppets. I'm not quite sure what the best approach is. I've tried to reach out before, to see if we could turn his talents and obvious desire to work on the subject toward more constructive means. Do you know if this is the same editor who was constantly adding Timmy the Tooth characters to productions where they never appeared? I haven't run into that for awhile. I suppose un-sourced trivia is better than blatant error, not that I'm convinced of the accuracy of these latest edits. If you've got ideas how I can help, let me know. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 01:48, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Saving Mr. Banks

Why did you revert my subdivision of the Historical accuracy section into work with Disney and Travers' childhood (if you can come up with better titles, welcome), and the item about the film showing a different model for Mary Poppins? Those are the two main aspects of the film, thus there are two areas in which the writers could potentially (and did) change history. And the alternate "Mary Poppins" model seems to be well cited (the film version is verified by primary source.) Also, an older item on the Talk page implies there was an alternate explanation of the father's death directly related to the alcoholism, though that is not well cited (I couldn't get the link to come up) so I of course left it out. JustinTime55 (talk) 19:14, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

The division seemed unnecessary, since the part regarding Travers' childhood was relatively brief when compared to the four paragraphs of content for the rest of the section. It just didn't seem enough to warrant its own subsection, so I returned the historical accuracy section back to a unified whole. Perhaps, if we expand more about Travers' personal history and its portrayal in the film, then the division would be more functional. P.S. I actually had no qualms about the titles themselves. :) ~ Jedi94 (Want to tell me something?)
Thanks for the reply. I seem to be having a bit of trouble misidentifying rearranged text in diff's as deleted, nowadays; I thought you had removed the great-aunt item but I see you didn't. I guess I care more about that than the subdivision, especially when it turns out that's the only one (the father's death item turned out to be bogus apparently, and that was my original inspiration for making the division.) JustinTime55 (talk) 19:55, 15 July 2015 (UTC)

Re Muppets list

Hey Jedi, I wanted to email you about this, but it seems that you've turned off your email from here, and I thought this was important, so here I am at your talk page. I think you should be warned about User:Rtkat3; notice I haven't linked him because I don't want to make it easy for him to know about this discussion.

If you go visit his talk page, you'll see that he tends to be a problematic editor, on many levels. He tends to focus on Muppet lists; he's caused me lots of headaches (along with lots of other editors), as you can see: [2] [3] [4]. Depending on how cranky a mood I'm in, I tend to revert his changes as a rule, since they tend to be unsourced and annoying. I thought that you should know, since it looks like he's targeting your Muppets list. Which by the way, is looking great. I intend on looking at it when you get further along and putting in my 2 cents as one of the resident Muppet nerds on WP. IOW, nice work! ;) Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 21:04, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

I am inviting you to take part in this discussion that details about the keep or merging of the Saturday Night Live Muppet sketch called The Land of Gorch. It will determine if the page should stay or be merged even if it has to be merged to Recurring Saturday Night Live characters and sketches introduced 1975–1976. Outside of that, you're doing a good job helping out the Muppet pages. --Rtkat3 (talk) 21:34, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
