Art+Feminism 2016
[edit]Hi Jbull991, I'm glad to see you've signed up for Wikipedia:Meetup/St. Louis/ArtAndFeminism 2016! Would you be willing to act as a facilitator at the event? Facilitating means that you'd wear a sticker to indicate that you're willing to help other participants. We expect many new editors, and it can just mean finding the right tutorial for their questions. Thanks! Wustl ajr (talk) 21:54, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Capegirardeaubridge.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Capegirardeaubridge.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:06, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Jbull991. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 14:11, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

Meet St. Louis area Wikipedians this Sunday
[edit]Hello! This coming Sunday, July 10th, a group of local Wikipedia contributors are getting together for the 2016 St. Louis Wiknic at Laumeier Sculpture Park. It's a low-key social event to chat with other Wikipedians. Grab a dish (or not, that's cool too) and join us!

If you know other folks in the area who might be interested, feel free to pass this along. We're hoping to gather an active and diverse local community of wiki editors.
Hope to see you there! —Verbistheword (talk) 20:57, 3 July 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Evelyn (Edison) Newman, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Clayton. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
