REQUEST YOUR ASSISTANCE
someone keeps vandalizing the original listing i posted regarding my uncle randy campo. i posted the original on here back in 2008and there were like no problems until this year? why are you so concerned with what is written regarding my uncle randy? i mean i know he was a remarkable and gifted genius and i am honored that you care so much regarding his memory! BUT REALLY WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? who told you to keep messing with the listing?
as relayed to the last person that was doing this, I CAN SUBMIT AUDIO RECORDINGS OF MY UNCLE RANDY CAMPO AND WHAT HE SAID, IN HIS OWN WORDS REGARDING CATHY, RITA, JESSICA AND MATTHEW.
I WISH YOU WOULD ASSIST IN KEEPING WHAT THE CAMPO FAMILY WANTS REGARDING RANDY CAMPO INSTEAD OF JUST VANDALIZING
WHY DIDN'T CATHY MENTION WHEN SHE MADE HER CHANGES THAT RANDY CAMPO ALSO HAD A BROTHER NAMED RICHARD FRANK CAMPO, WHO WAS MURDERED IN HIS LAST YEAR AT MEDICAL SCHOOL?
RICHARD FRANK CAMPO (1953-1977)
just so you know i am for real, here is my contact information: <removed, Jarkeld (talk) 01:17, 31 July 2010 (UTC)>
of course i could just start Victor-Jamin Campo-Potamkin (1973-) could then cover my murdered uncle ricky and uncle randy on my listing...or would you also try to alter the listing on me and my family as well? JMNP (talk) 00:53, 31 July 2010 (UTC)Jamin
- There are a couple of problems with your additions to Campo:
- It is unsourced (WP:UNSOURCED)
- The page you are posting it to is a disambiguation page (WP:DISAMBIG) and is not the place for such information
- You have a conflict of interest regarding the subject(s) (WP:COI)
- In short: Please stop inserting this information, Campo is not the place for this info.
- Please read the links I have mentioned above. If you have sources (WP:RS), feel free to mention them and we can check if an article can be written. Jarkeld (talk) 01:17, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
you don't make any sense. where do you come off telling me the information i have regarding my family members is wrong!?!
not the place for such information, right the page listed as CAMPO, that other people before me subbed it with People and when i added RANDY CAMPO to the CAMPO page, i clearly was in violation of wikipedia...what nonsense you are!
that's like you making a listing on the JARKELD area, stating that you are one of the most proficient administrators on wikipedia, that you are the MICHAEL JORDAN of wiki admin's and me coming along and telling ya, "Jarkeld, please don't post listings in the Jarkeld area and if you do you will be vandalizing because to post on the JARKELD area you need verifiable proof that JARKELD is on your diver license, passport and most importantly PayPal account. dude get a life and stop trying to impose yourself in mine, or step up and give me evidence that anything i wrote is not factual, veriafiable, etc, etc. etc JMNP (talk) 02:19, 31 July 2010 (UTC)JMNP
- Lets make 1 thing clear: I am not an admin.
- I am not saying that the info you have on your family members is wrong, I am saying that the Campo page is a page containing links to other pages. It is not the place for the info you added. Furthermore the burden of proof re: notability lies with you. If your family members haven't been mentioned in reliable sources then there shouldn't be an article about them. As I already pointed out: you have a conflict of interest re: your family members, so it is not really advisable to create the articles yourself. Please read WP:My first article and the links I gave in my previous answer to read how to write an article. Jarkeld (talk) 03:05, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
i think it was smart of you not to question the information i have regarding my family members. now that we have verifiably proven that you are not a complete ass, next step; i consider the ARCHives of OPHTHalmology and Journal of the American Medical Association to be substantial reference. If wikipedia can't verify without being told by little ole me about ARCH OPHTH and JAMA than you have again given testament to my belief regarding wikipedia...i mean it is laughable that wikipedia at the current time has nothing, other than "view history" regarding RANDY CAMPO and his scholarly works. if you get the time, i mean from your busy schedule trolling wikipedia for listings that you can delete or alter cause your vast knowledge crushes most others... read my uncles dozens of publications in JAMA et al then go ask your physician how many times he's been published. i do get your point regarding that the CAMPO page can link up to other wikipedia pages regarding the topic...THEY CAN ALSO NOT. The fact remains RANDY CAMPO was born in 1952 and was killed in 1992. He was a medical doctor. Everything, EVERYTHING he submitted for publication was! Now maybe you can delude yourself that you are the most intelligent person to review and control if the wikipedia site mentions my uncle RANDY CAMPO or not...o yeah why am i wasting my time even discussing or trying to relay information to you regarding remarkable noteworthy people. i was just trying to be helpful and inform people, similar to ARCHIVES of OPHTHALMOLOGY and JAMA, i mean go take a look at the obituary from them, they are like kinda real publications, not as substantial as wikipedia yet and they are like no where close to mainstream, i mean people like you don't wanna read about retinal myopathy when you can delete factual wiki posts! i mean, shit if my uncles were alive today, they would most certainly take the path you took and would not devote their time to science, WHEN THEY COULD DO REAL IMPORTANT THINGS LIKE REVIEW WIKIPEDIA LISTINGS and correct facts that certain people do not like...I MEAN REALLY...CURING BLINDNESS IS FOR PUSSIES!!!!!!!!!! (don't disappoint me now, when i see that your greater intellectually than my uncles, and respond to this, no response is necessary...HAVE A NICE LIFE JMNP (talk) 05:49, 31 July 2010 (UTC)JMNP
OH YEAH! DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE A DONATION TO THE RANDY V. CAMPO LECTURESHIP FUND, at the UNIVERSITY of MIAMI, MILLER SCHOOL of MEDICINE, BASCOM PALMER EYE INSTITUTE. don't be cheap JMNP (talk) 06:07, 31 July 2010 (UTC)JMNP

Question re: warning on Nicole Polizzi
Is this how you leave a message? I came on wikipedia and you left me a message about Nicole Polizzi? I wasn't me, I'm so confused, I have no idea what's going on! - As an IP address can be assigned dynamically, you might find warnings on the talkpage. If you did not make that edit you can disregard the warning. To avoid this kind of thing, perhaps consider to create an user-account. (See WP:Account). Jarkeld (talk) 23:50, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

Dear friend Thanks lot for your information and suggestion. --Wipeouting (talk) 05:05, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi Jarkeld
I needed to get back to you about having my login name adjusted.
I keep an eye on a Wiki entry for iS3, the company I work for. I have been tasked with monitoring the presence of our flagship product STOPzilla on the site, and making sure that the listing is factual, and neutral.
I was instructed to let an editor know whenever things needed to be changed. I think at this point I need some help.
There is an user/editor FleetCommand, who has been doing an ok job of stopping vandalism, but has also been making some edits, that are either misspelled, or unnecessary.
There was one issue with his spelling of thrice as trice (and that got sorted out), but now he lists that STOPzilla has "but has not received CESG Claims Tested Mark."
I understand that remaining neutral is important, so I reviewed all of the other software listings that were in the same category, and none of them listed that they have not received such a certification.
Can you please look into the issue and attempt to remedy it in a neutral manner. I don't see that it is necessary to list certifications that have never been applied for, and it seems that this would be only listed in order to try to cast a negative light on the product.
Thanks Is3-stopzilla (talk) 20:43, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- Now, this is very interesting, Jarkeld. You went ahead and warned 209.255.158.50 for the aforementioned vandalism, oblivious to the fact the he and Is3-stopzilla (talk · contribs) are actually the same people. Let me tell you a funny thing too: This misspelling of "thrice" is about the number of times that STOPzilla received certificate. But amongst the sabotage record of 209.255.158.50 you'll find that he once reduced it to "twice" while the source stated three cases. If 209.255.158.50 and Is3-stopzilla are same people, (which they probably are), then I think you must ask yourself: "How comes an iS3 employee tasked to watch these material doesn't even know how many times its product is certified?" Either iS3 has chosen a very incompetent employee for this topic to watch or otherwise this guy is not what he asserts to be. Fleet Command (talk) 15:42, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- I warned him on the ip because it was painfully obvious that they are the same. I don't have much time right now, will try to address this matter more fully tonight. Jarkeld (talk) 16:59, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. I did not warn about vandalism, I warned about possible COI editing. As I stated before I'm aware of the fact that the IP and user are most likely the same person. I did not check the thrice statement. I only looked at the statement that they did not have a certificate from CESG. As this was unreferenced I removed it. (Btw: the link to that user is Jim Kirkpatrick (talk · contribs). The old account was renamed, but he hasn't updated the signature.) I won't speculate on the employee status of the editor. All I know is that he has a COI and should not make direct edits to the page unless it is blatant vandalism. Jarkeld (talk) 21:03, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Just found out he logged in again under the old name. Gave a notice about it. Jarkeld (talk) 21:08, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Your 3rd opinion in Stopzilla
Hi, Jarkeld. I read your edit summary in Stopzilla and found it compelling. That was logical. Thank you. Fleet Command (talk) 06:17, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Stopzilla
Let's keep this professional Fleet Command. I was having trouble understanding the meaning of your misspelling of the word thrice, and I am sure that you are aware as an editor that spell checking of your entries is pretty important.
I was instructed to posted the new mention of the WestCoast certificate on our site on the 10th of August http://www.stopzilla.com/products/stopzilla/press.do, and was trying to keep the posting on our site up to date with the Wiki entry.
Am I to understand that it is not "Neutral" to fix mistakes that editors have made on the entry, I have been working with Floquenbeam to handle edits in the past, but due to his Semi-retired nature. Have looked to you an new editor to help.
I would also like to ask your advice. As I look at our competitors entries, they are much more verbose, and provide a lot more information about their products. Would I submit an entry to an editor like yourself to review for neutrality and use to update the current entry?
We want the listing to be being neutral and factual, it's libelous statements, and lies that we are trying to avoid. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.255.158.50 (talk) 18:22, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Is3-stopzilla (talk) 16:01, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- If you:
- 1) change your signature to reflect the name change
- 2) post the text you want while logged in, not as an IP
- 3) refrain from editing the page yourself (logged in or as IP) unless it is an unequivocal case of vandalism
- If you agree to these terms I'm willing to check the text you want and post it for you. (not on my main talk. I'll make a subpage for that when you agree. Jarkeld (talk) 20:49, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- Jarkeld,
- I agree, and will follow those guidelines. We will be working on our neutral, factual entry for your review. In the meantime, should I just make a different account to use, or do I need to have this one renamed. If I need to have it renamed, can you help me along in the process.
- Also, since Fleetcommand completely re-wrote the STOPzilla entry, can the Neutrality tag be removed. He deleted more than half of the content that described what the product did, as well as how it was received by the reviewers. So at this point...it's well...His point of view.
- Thanks
- First and foremost, please correctly indent your reply.
- Second, I did reduce the article size but not deleting any contents. I did it by removing redundant headings and by fixing wordiness and removing false paddings. (E.g. instead of a long-winded description about real-time monitoring, I simply linked to that article.)
- Third, contrary to what you asserted, your competitors' articles are not verbose; they simply cover more aspects of their subject products than yours. For instance, Microsoft Security Essentials has a Features section that is more meager than STOPzilla; STOPzilla however, has no significant Development, Critical Reception or Industry Response section. Norton AntiVirus has no Features section at all; its size is chiefly in its Criticism section and its history (Windows Edition) section.
- Fourth, if you wish the truth about your company's application to be written AND STOPzilla article to be as rich as that of your competitors, your time is best spend first on your product and your corporate web site, then on reading Wikipedia guidelines and policies. After knowing what Wikipedia is and what it wants, perhaps you'll realize why we are acting like this.
- Last but not least, the tag will remain there for a while until we perceive the article as having a stable state and is devoid of both Conflict of interest and interest in conflict.
- Fleet Command (talk) 21:05, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
- FleetCommand is correct on all the counts he posted.
- If you (Is3-stopzilla) are not the same person who asked for the account to be renamed to Jim Kirkpatrick (talk · contribs) then you need to file a namechange as it is not allowed under the rules. If you did have this name renamed to Jim Kirkpatrick, you'll need to abandon Is3-stopzilla and log in under the new name.
- If you have a text ready for review, please add it here Jarkeld (talk) 23:24, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

- Well, since the last AfD was closed there hasn't been any user edits to the article. I read the sources and the two AfD's and I think the article fails WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO. As such a new AfD could be started. No idea if enough people will chime in. Last time there weren't many people participating. Jarkeld (talk)

STOPzilla
Many sites show that STOPzilla has rogue anti-virus characteristics and the page was likely edited by the creator or his workers which isn't allowed I think. re: Your recent Ref. addition to Geert Wilders
I did see that also. I read most of the article and noticed quite a bit of disheveled English. I am going to leave this up to you and the community to decide on. My only intention was to make the article accessible. If the original Dutch version is acceptable maybe we can just use that, but please do what you feel a best & thanks for letting me know. Dawnseeker2000 18:20, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- Well I found another translation service from Yahoo. It corrects the issue that you pointed out but mauls the item that we were looking to clarify. The statement "Zelf ben ik agnost" seemed fine from Google as "I myself am agnostic", but on the Yahoo service the same sentence comes out as "Itself is I agnostic". Oh well, we can live with that I think. Dawnseeker2000 18:58, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- It seems Dutch is quite hard for a machine to translate. Babelfish leaves some words untranslated, but it seems to leave the original intent intact. It's too bad NRC dropped it's English language section. However I did locate the original site Wilders wrote his opinion for here. Don't know if it's usable as a ref. UKIP
Hi there, although I am the Director of UKIP FOI, I believe the article I submitted is entirely neutral. It is merely factual information related to the creation of the organisation UKIP Friends of Israel. Thus, I do not contravene point 1. On point 2, the username JCUKIP represents myself, JC being my initials. Please could you help me to create a Wikipedia page for my organisation. I would think it wholly unfair if Wikipedia only chose to have submissions for the Friends of Israel groups of other UK political parties and not UKIP. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcukip (talk • contribs) 16:09, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I declined the Afc because the text used was from the blog. The copyvio could be resolved via WP:OTRS if you can prove that permission has been given to use the text. As a secondary criterion I would have declined because there are no reliable, third party, sources listed and I haven't found any with a quick search. The organisation fails WP:ORG at the moment. I'll take a further look later tonight. As far as the username name is concerned: You could continue using it, but I think it resembles the organisation name too closely. Lastly as director of the organisation in question it's advisable to read WP:COI as to the rules about conflicts of interest. Jarkeld (talk) 16:25, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Response to Image Conflict
I will keep removing the images and you will add them. But i will keep removing as long as I am on Wikipedia. Be respectful to other religions. Don not escalate this conflict. Images of the most beautiful and holy Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him are strictly forbidden in Islam. You are offending me and my religion. I demand Cease and desist from adding images of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) most beautiful and resplendent face.
PS I am extremely disgusted that the Prophet Muhammad's (peace upon him) article is so negative towards his illustrious and greatest and holiest personage (i.e the criticism of the beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon) section) (how can you criticise the greatest, most intelligent, most pious, most august person of all time? The seal of all prophets who was above the rank and station of Jesus, Abraham, and Moses? These people are very offensive. In response, I am creating a criticism of Jesus section. Jesus of Nazareth (the Christian version) has plenty of, indeed countless, criticism.
Therefore, I demand that you stop from adding images of the holy Prophet Muhammad's (phuh) beautiful and holy face. --Don Zaloog (talk) 17:34, 26 November 2010 (UTC) Don Zaloog
- As I mentioned on your talkpage: please read Wikipedia is not censored and the FAQ on Muhammad. If you continue to remove the pictures and/or continue to add PBUH or related honorifics you WILL be blocked. Jarkeld (talk) 17:52, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Spoony redirects
That link you posted goes to the AfD discussion for the main article - the discussion for the list of episodes page is actually Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/List_of_The_Spoony_Experiment_episodes, which was closed early and improperly by a non-admin - something that led to a VERY long discussion questioning his actions, which you can read here. Now, I;m not going to edit war over this now, but I intend to bring this to another AfD soon, as I believe both articles were kept by improper methods, specifically revolving around the claims that the show is notable due to an award, which it never actually received. There are no other indications from reliable sources that this show is in any way actually notable. MikeWazowski (talk) 22:23, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Regarding deletion of IVS Alumni article
You commented that added external links didn't work, then please help improving the article. How to improve this now. Vakas Siddiqui (talk) 14:26, 10 January 2011 (UTC)
- The problem with the external links is that they do not contain reasons why we should have an article about The IVS Alumni Association. Without reliable sources and without giving a reason why we should have an article about them, the article won't be published in mainspace. Jarkeld.alt (Talk) 16:16, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello Jarkeld - I submitted a page for review, called "Heraldic Badges of the Canadian Government". The article was a short table listing seven known badges with illustrations and brief descriptions. It was rejected (by you) as being a blank submission. Did anything appear? That was my second attempted article, so I possibly hit a wrong button... snd3054 00:25, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

I refer to the reasons for deleting my article. I already chatted with another editor who says he has restored the article and that he mistakenly deleted it because I put 'hangon' on it. It's still not showing online but he wants me to also talk to you too before fully restoring it to site. I included international 3rd party sources in the article and even publication from IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers USA - which is the biggest technical organisation in the world). Please check the references again. Like I told the other editor, this guy has more interesting details than many other young Nigerians that I have seen on wikipedia and I decided to write about him. I checked his profile in a few places and also asked him questions before I put up my own original write-up on him. If you have specific adjustments you want me to note, please let me know. I hope you would please restore it to the web site or confirm if I can do so. ---KunleAdetoke/deboonifade--- —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.166.77 (talk) 14:08, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
