Linking to Genius.com
[edit]Hi. Please avoid linking to Genius.com pages for lyrics. Genius.com does not have the license to display lyrics, so they are a copyright violation. Wikipedia should not encourage links to content others do not have the rights to host. If you can't take credits from anywhere but Genius, leave them out. Besides this, unless there is something controversial about the credits, they do not have to be attributed to a source. MOS:ALBUM states albums themselves are the source for credits, so in most cases this logic applies to songs as well. The digital notes attached to them are the source. You should not link to copyright-violating websites. Ss112 13:23, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Furthermore, Spotify statistics are against WP:SINGLEVENDOR to include. Wait until the official chart publishers of countries publish their charts, because these take data from a variety of sources to give a fuller picture. Spotify charts often give a skewed impression of how popular something is on that platform as opposed to across the board, and this is what the linked guideline also reiterates. Thanks. February 2022
[edit]Hello, I'm Ss112. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tate McRae, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ss112 23:12, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Chaotic Cover Art.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Chaotic Cover Art.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:31, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
Please find better sources than YouTube
[edit]I have removed the information you added to I Used to Think I Could Fly as you have only used YouTube and what I assume is an Instagram story archiver (but was just a link to an app), which are poor citations. Please find better sources (secondary news websites) if you wish to restore this information. Thank you. Ss112 15:00, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
