Hi. Thanks for your input in this article. Can you provide a source for this info? Please see Wikipedias policies of WP:Verifiability and WP:No Original Research. You may also want to read WP:NPOV and WP:PEACOCK as well, for a more encyclopedic tone. Regards. dissolvetalk 18:06, 8 May 2008 (UTC) Bold text[reply]

Bamboo fly rod

[edit]

Hello James and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your input to bamboo fly rod. However I must reinforce what was said to you in the above section. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, which means you cannot just submit your own work. You must cite reputable sources. Please slow down, read the articles which have been suggested to you above, and then revise your contributions appropriately. --Geronimo20 (talk) 00:56, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The section you added to this article called So Why Fish Today With Bamboo Fly Rods? does not conform to the Wikipedia style guidelines. It does not have citations and expresses personal opinions in a personal style. This is inappropriate in an encyclopaedia. When I reverted your earlier additions, I didn't realise you had previously entered the whole section. You weren't challenged at the time, because I guess other editors weren't looking after the article.
However, you seem to know a thing or two about bamboo fly rods (which I don't). Would you like to acquaint yourself with relevant references (some are given at the bottom of the article) and have a go at rewriting your section including citations? If you can't find a citation for something, then you shouldn't include it. That can be frustrating, but it is just the nature of this particular game. Unsupported personal views do not belong in Wikipedia. So I will leave the section as it is, in case you want to have a serious go at it. Otherwise eventually it may be deleted. If you want a hand I'm happy to help. You can discuss what you are doing either here, or on my talk page, or on the talk page of the article itself. Cheers. --Geronimo20 (talk) 20:35, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looking more closely, the rest of the article is a shakey mess as well. It would be good if you would like to have a go at cleaning up the whole article.--Geronimo20 (talk) 21:20, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please maintain a neutral point of view when editing Wikipedia. We are an encyclopedia, not a fansite. Stray away from calling anyone "extraordinary", or, the "best" when editing, like you did here. Feel free to edit Wikipedia all you want, but just edit from a neutral stance. Thank you, and have a wonderful day. iced kola(Mmm...) 02:43, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fr Damien

[edit]

Hi, I just tweaked your edit to Father Damien, as he won't be "Saint Damien" until the canonization actually takes place (long overdue as it is). --Paularblaster (talk) 22:50, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quantum of Solace

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Also, as previously advised on this page, please be aware of WP:NPOV and WP:PEACOCK. Alientraveller (talk) 18:51, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be very helpful if you would fill out edit summaries. If you have trouble understanding, read Help:Edit summary. Alientraveller (talk) 18:59, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Alientraveller (talk) 19:23, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I was being harsh. You were doing good edits as well. Would you like to comment at Talk:Quantum of Solace as to why you feel you have to alter quotes and added your opinions on what the filmmakers aimed for? Alientraveller (talk) 20:34, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

March 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Pete Carroll appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Newguy34 (talk) 03:34, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've also been noticing your edits across several USC articles. Please be careful of keeping things NPOV, or you will end up hurting these articles in the long run as neutral editors will come by them (sometime in the future) and hack them apart for having to much of a PR puff piece look and sound --I do that to problematic articles all the time. I realize you noble intentions, but keep in mind an encyclopedia is about clinical observation supported with facts. --Bobak (talk) 15:09, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, JamesBHunt. I've started a discussion of your recent changes to the Browning Citori article, at Talk:Browning Citori#FN Herstal and other changes. Feel free to join in there. Thanks. Mudwater (Talk) 00:52, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Molokai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vatican (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Drew Barrymore, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page E.T. Fallujah during the Iraq War

[edit]

I notice you have removed a considerable amount of cited material, including the lead, from Fallujah during the Iraq War without explanation.[1][2]. Please explain what you think you are doing. --Epipelagic (talk) 05:38, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
