Raja Dahir�s daughters also were counted among slave girls, 196. E.D., I, 172-73 gives the number of captives as 30,000.

If you read it carefully you will see that Khushwant Singh is only referring a tale that he heard from someone. This is absolutely NOT a verifiable fact that can go into an encyclopaedic article. Now you have this quote on his page "Yohanan Friedmann has argued against communalist interpretations of Sirhindi's thought specifically in South Asian nationalist historiography, pointing out that there is no evidence that Sirhindi or his disciples spread "anti-Hindu sentiments wherever they went."  Comment: I am not sure it will change your views, but in recent years only around 5% of acts of terrorism within the United States had any links with Islam. In ~95% of these acts, terrorists had entirely different affiliations and motivations. Read here: Domestic terrorism in the United States. I also encourage you to read Human rights abuses in Jammu and Kashmir for a clear-cut example of state terrorism geographically close to your country.

See, man, Wikipedia is not a propaganda tube of religious/political/national/etc., fundamentalists. 1. The reference that is used in that article (http://www.economist.com/node/21554233), specifically mentions South Asia, and not Indian subcontinent.

2. Please also read "South Asia#Indian subcontinent" and "Indian subcontinent#Nomenclature" for why the term "South Asia" is seen as being more neutral, and as such it should be the preferred way to refer to the region here on the English Wikipedia. Introduction to contentious topics

Bharat is a name of India in indian native languages. Like Misr is for Egypt or Turkiye is for Turkey or Myanmar for Burma, etc. It is your limited knowledge or political agenda that says that caling India a Bharat is mistake. No wonder wikipedia is thought of a biased political organization that is 10-20% right on its content. Do you have a vested agenda? If not then whereever you see India also add Bharat otherwise it is your prerogative. Also Constitution of India does call the nation of India as Bharat.
