Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Dimu. Your edits continue to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

- ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
- If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place

Speedy deletion nomination of Dimow Chariali
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Dimow Chariali requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Heyy...I want to create a page on a town of Dhemaji, Assam, India, so I want to know how to add informations on it. Can anybody help.
- Hi, to create a page I would suggest using Articles for Creation, as this way you can get feedback from other editors before it is published (where it may be deleted if it does not comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines). But before doing this, I would recommend you read Your First Article, a page which tells you everything you need to know about writing an article. Basically, just make sure you've got references to reliable sources, you maintain a neutral point of view and you don't copy text from copyrighted sources. So to get started, go here. Hopefully this helped. Seagull123 Φ 17:21, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
Dimow
[edit]As requested by you i have created a page on Dimow, but the references i am finding mentions it to be a medium-sized village. Even the census 2011 Govt of India website mentions it as a village. Please do clarify by giving suitable citations as to how you inferred that it is a town. Any sources? Any references? . Additionally you have added various educational institutions to the article. Please give suitable references for the same or else it might be removed. Please let me know for any concerns. [edit]Hello, I'm Donner60. I noticed that in this edit to Dimu, you removed all the content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 04:05, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- A page cannot be deleted or blanked simply because a reader/user/editor does not like it or like the subject of the page or because it is poorly written or upon request without a reason given. If a page meets the criteria for criteria for speedy deletion. If any material violates a copyright from any other sources, that material could be deleted without going through a deletion process. The source of the copyrighted material nust be identified in the edit summary or on the talk page with a mention in the edit summary so the removal can be verified as legitimate. See Wikipedia:Copyright Problems and Wikipedia:Copyright violations. Otherwise, if you wish to have the page deleted, you must proceed under the procedures shown in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. For criteria, see: Wikipedia:Deletion policy.

Notice of copy-paste move
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Dimow, Assam a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Dimow. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
