Vandalism and Rollback
Hello there, I hope you're well. If you want to get rollback then you'll need to show that you have plenty of experience fighting vandalism. If you wanted to, you could really screw up a page with rollback. So you need to show that you're trustworthy and that you're interested in fighting vandalism. You need to go to the recent changes list and start checking things out. One way, the slow way, is to check the edit history and then undo everything by hand. The better way to do it is to use Twinkle. It semi-automates the process for you. It's more or less like having rollback, but it will rollback for you, i.e. undo edits one-by-one until all of the edits by a vandal editor have been undone. Also, and very importantly, you can then go to the user's page and leave a vandalism warning. The warnings go up in levels. Level 1 to level 4. If they vandalise after level 4 then you report them (Twinkle helps you to do this too) and the admins will block them. For now start reading up about twinkle. Good luck. ~~ Dr Dec (Talk) ~~ 19:11, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, I've looked at it and have switched it on. I think it'll be helpful though I'm not sure if it can mend my injured pride. :P Thanks again for recommending it! ^-^

- Don't let it get you down. Some of the admins can be brutal. Just check out requests for administratorship for some prime examples. I'm not sure what they're trying to prove, or to whom, but some of them can be very mean sometimes. ~~ Dr Dec (Talk) ~~ 16:49, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
- Don't worry, I've gotten over it. ;~) Thanks again for recommending Twinkle.--Twilight Helryx (talk) 16:54, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

- Funny, until now I had no idea what Bionicle was. Anyway, saw your science and biology userboxes. If you haven't already, check out WP:MCB. Lots of stuff to be done, great people, and tons to learn about. If you're interested... Cheers, AndrewGNF (talk) 17:33, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Don't worry, many people don't (though not so many that it isn't popular). ;) And sure, I'll go check the WikiProject out. Have a nice day!--Twilight Helryx (talk) 17:37, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! Now i'm just gonna find out where to accept my adoption. --SpringfieldHighWildcats (talk) 22:04, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

hi adopter, i have question!
Hey again! I was wondering. If I keep putting one of my edits back up and it keeps getting rejected, is there a way to be sure it stays? I was editing Pointillism, and I added to the section on the page about notable pointillist artists (it is a type of art) Yakov Smirnoff, who did a pointillist painting about September 11, and it keeps getting removed. Can you help? --SpringfieldHighWildcats (talk) 20:50, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- You may want to discuss the matter with other editors on the article's talk page and discuss it with other users. Hope this helps.--Twilight Helryx (talk) 03:27, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Another thing: if you do believe that Yakov Smirnoff is notable enough, be sure to state why you're adding him in the edit summary so other users know why you did so. If it still gets removed, you can try listing your reasons on the talk page. I had a similar experience on Bionicle: The Legend Reborn. Here's what I did [2]--Twilight Helryx (talk) 14:10, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

I noticed your adopting people. Good job! How did you get so good at adopting people and you have only been on since August?--Coldplay Expert 23:47, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
- Lol! Thanks! I just check up on the Users seeking adoption page to see if anyone needs an adopter. The rest, I let nature take its course. To tell you the truth, most of the stuff I know are self-taught; I didn't know the "adopt-a-user" project existed when I first started so I learned the old-fashioned way (i.e. I did basic editing and learned everything else by watching other users and learning from my mistakes). So, there you have it. A good day to you! <3 --Twilight Helryx (talk) 23:57, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Makuta
Hey Helryx I noticed the Makuta article doesn't seem to be up to date, since Makuta currently inhabits the robot body of Mata Nui on Aqua Magna, but as far as I could tell, that wasn't mentioned. - Indeed. I don't follow the series obsessively, but I do read the comics and try to keep up to date. However, I don't really know enough of the complexities of the storyline to make any large contributions, as the books series usually contains important information that I cannot get my hands on, and there is no main source of evidence (movie, novel) to check everything else against. But I didn't expect you to rush to the rescue of the article like the supergirl you are! :)--Jakkinx Happy Thanksgiving! 16:52, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

- Hah, I do know where to find them, I just never have the time or funds (so many). However, I do manage to keep a general knowledge of the storyline (though I do have gaps, such as the Metru Nui section), though I have never heard of Toa Helryx (sounds really awesome though, what are his/her powers?). As for the Legends Reborn movie, I saw some of the clips, and the combat scenes definetly looked good (actual fighitng, not just blasts of fire and ice), but I can imagine how bad it must be in other places. However, it is possible as you grow older, some parts of Bionicle will not delight you as they did before. However, I for one simply MUST see the new release in 2009, as it looks awesome (Cosmic Toa, anyone? :). However, I hope that the Makuta/Mata Nui battle will be properly epic and proportioned, as Makuta is now a UNIVERSE for goodness sake. Still, I never knew the Toa and matoran where actually INSIDE Mata Nui's body...anyway, I'll stop talking now and leave you to your fantastic work as a Wikipedian. I am almost certain I will be back from Wikibreak by Christmas too, so look for me then! ;)--Jakkinx Happy Thanksgiving! 16:45, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi
He scrubbed in three articles, historical texts with reliable references, including references to wikipedia is more accustomed too. Articles:
- Art rock
- Psychedelic rock
- Progressive rock
All the texts that he claimed are opinions, and that the references (serious by the way) were placed for convenience to my opinions. I'm musicologist, musician, researcher seriously.
My text Psychedelic rock first: In August 1964, Beach Boys releases two singles, When I Grow Up (To Be a Man) / She Knows Me Too Well with a sophistication unusual for the time, and were placed on albums in 1965, Today! http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/music-records/today-the-beach-boys/1298336/ and Summer Days (And Summer Nights!), which contains introspective and experimental music with elements of classical music . http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:aifqxql5ld0e It has since come to light, and has long been freely admitted to by Brian Wilson, that he had begun using marijuana during december 1964 as a stress reliever, and once he realized the profound effect it had on the way he perceived music, Wilson became a regular user.Wilson, Brian / Gold, Todd (1991). "Would not It Be Nice - My Own Story
See the references that I'm not lying, and is a justice to the pioneering groups. All of these articles cited The Beatles, but I showed, The Beach Boys in 1964, 1965 and 1966 were already with albums and songs that contain musical experimentation, indeed, much more experimentation before The Beatles. Interestingly in the texts that I wrote, I said that not one was experimental more than the other, just to avoid claims. These three articles refer to the music of avant-garde and experimental ...
See the article mentioning the progressive rock (precursors) Sgt Peppers (1967), Rubber Soul (1965) and Revolver (1966) (all of the Beatles) ... But he erased my text showing thePet Sounds and its experimentalism. Pet Sounds (Beach Boys) is 1966, and Sgt Peppers is 1967. The funny thing is that Rubber Soul of 1965 (The Beatles) is cited in this file, and, The Beach Boys albums in 1965 (Today and Summer Days), are experimental more. But still I did not say to avoid claims .
If you want to search the data sheet of the albums and compare the amount of instruments used by Beach Boys, is gigantic. In my text just said that these materials of the Beach Boys since 1965 contained strong elements of classical music and dismissed him. I'm subscribed to classical music portal (lusofone wikipedia). My problem is not having a good English(I'm from Brasil), and if you find that a word was misplaced, you can change the words that may sound pretentious. Can you to recover the reversal made by the user on the three articles? I spent hours and hours researching, to he to delete and call me opinionative.
Article progressive rock that was deleted too.
Look at the source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A2622304 . In another addition to any other source in the article that art rock show that Paul McCartney took the influence of Pet Sounds About Sg. Peppers The Beatles. Including George Martin said that without Pet Sounds, Sgt Peppers would not have happened. http://www.brianwilson.com/brian/musicians.html
Sgt Peppers is quoted in the article as a progressive rock precursor. The article also cites the Rubber Soul claiming to have experimentalism ... So I mentioned The Beach Boys album of 1965 even before the cast Help and Rubber soul, claiming to have elements classical music experimentalism . They by them. (Mago266 (talk) 05:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC))
What do I do? Can I to show you the amended texts to approve? You can to show me amended texts too, This is a idea . If you to approve, you can to place on articles. Greetings!(Mago266 (talk) 05:27, 20 November 2009 (UTC))
- Hello there. Hmm, I think I would like to see how you wrote it. However, as I currently cannot access any site besides Wikipedia and a few others, you may wish to find someone else who can review those references. If you like, I can ask another user to verify them. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 14:13, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
- If he wants he is more then welcome to do the proper thing and start discussion on the articles talk pages. At this point he has had at least 3 editors undohis work on various articles. Ridernyc (talk) 14:30, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Ridernyc, I had no intention to offend you. I just felt discouraged. And I understand your reasons because you want the best for wikipedia. I have difficulty in English, and I do not know which words have pretensions. Twilight, You can ask another user to verify them. This is a good idea. (Mago266 (talk) 21:59, 20 November 2009 (UTC))
- Okay, I'll try. And taking Rider's advice would also be beneficial. ;) So go ahead, show those sites on the articles' talk pages and let others tell you what they see and think should be done. =) --Twilight Helryx 13:47, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've left a request for review at the talk page for WikiProject Music. I believe that someone should be attending to it shortly. =) --Twilight Helryx 13:59, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- I read the request on the WikiProject Music page. The dooyoo and allmusic pages are review pages, so they can't be sourced for information donating to these articles. The third one is from BBC, and BBC pagges can be sourced. However, passages such as "Sgt Pepper, with its innovative production... quirky meters, immaculate melodies, printed lyrics... and cover artwork that defined a generation...", along with other passages in the article, make me concerned about the non-neutrality of the article. Despite that, it is somewhat well written, if you ask me. Also, I have never associated The Beach Boys with progressive rock or the precursing to progressive rock, so that is another thing I am concerned about. It is a somewhat substantial page, but I don't know if it is worth sourcing. I think that there should be additional opinions concerning this page; also, if the Beach Boys are indeed precursors of progressive rock (something that I really can't agree with, as hinted at earlier), then there should be other sources introduced on wikipedia to confirm that. As for the fourth source, I would vote against sourcing it, considering how it is on an official website. Thanks. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 19:59, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- I'd like to add it was not just the progressive rock article he tried to add this info to. He also added it to Art Rock and I think one other article. I think any time he sees Sgt. Pepper mentioned he tries to add this big section on Brian Wilson and Pet Sounds.Ridernyc (talk) 21:27, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Why cite Rubber Soul and Revolver in Article prog rock?
The album Today! and Summer Days (Beach Boys) are more experimental than the Rubber Soul. Pet Sounds is more experimental than Revolver and Sgt Peppers together.
The experimentation is essential to understand the pioneering art rock and prog rock.
In art rock can exclude the passage of the text on 1964, and leave only about the Pet Sounds that I wrote. But the article psychdelic rock is good to leave the passage of 1964 and 1965 albums .... : In 1964 the single When I Grow Up (To Be a Man) has a harpsichord, melodramatic passages and sophisticated harmonies. It was during this period that Brian is using marijuana, which he said caused senseções in the form of writing.
But the article art rock may leave my text about Pet Sounds only. However rewritten, excluding the phrase definition of the genre.
Here is better: (article art rock)
The Beach Boys release Pet Sounds album (1966) with its experimentalism ,the musical structure and production. The Beatles have said that Pet Sounds was a major influence on their album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Mago266 (talk) 22:45, 21 November 2009 (UTC))
In Article prog rock, my text is good, and is not pretentious.
But it may be this:
The earliest traces of progressive rock can be seen in such albums as Pet Sounds (1966), by the Beach Boys, with its experimental musical structure, production and sophistication.Smile Unrealized (1967) and Smiley Smile (1967) and, The Beach Boys 1965 albums with elements of classical music, use orchestral arrangements, melodies and harmonies sophisticated on The Beach Boys Today![4] and Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) with harpsichord, zither, among other instruments.
Technical information Today! :

Technical information Summer Days (And Summer Nights) :
Vibraphone, tambourine, Castanet, Timbales, Claves, upright Bass, Tenor Saxophone, baritone saxophone, Piano,Trumpet, Celesta, ukulele, harmonica, Viola, French Horn, Violin (various), Electric guitar, electric bass, drums, carnival barker, 12 string guitar, handclaps . (Mago266 (talk) 00:44, 22 November 2009 (UTC))
Technical information Rubber Soul:
Electric guitar, electric piano, piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, sitar, hammond organ, harmonium, percussion.
So, why Rubber Soul only is cited on prog rock ?
Today! and Summer Days are experimental more! (Mago266 (talk) 00:52, 22 November 2009 (UTC))
- Those are some nice writings you've got there, Mago. I think it would be even better for you to place those and their sources on their respective articles' talk pages. That way, you will have more suitable people to review them. ;) But, ignoring the fact that I cannot actually see the sources, what you intend to write looks good. =)
Oh yes, and one more thing: has it been explicitly stated (from an unbiased source) that Today! and Summer Days are "more experimental"? If not, then that would be original research and cannot be added. Same goes for everything else.--Twilight Helryx 00:58, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Secret Saturdays
Okay, rather than play revision tag with you, I want to get on the same page with you. If you could just ping me on my talk that you've responded that would help me get back with you faster.
Jay Stephens, in a Toonzone post has clarified that there are just two seasons. We know this account to be authentic because his personal site links to his blog which contains a comment in which he verifies the account.
I did check the pre-Nov 7 TSS episodes page but did not find any links where he referred to a "season three" but several in which he referred to the "new season" which was coming up.
And finally, Cartoon Network's official site has, under TSS videos, full episodes for viewing, seasons one and two. Kur pt 1 and Kur pt 2 are under Season 2 there, not a third season.
So what say you? Can we get the episode list corrected? Ought either his blog or CN's site be cited? I know from the discussion page somewhere there was an interview someone did with Jay posted on a blogspot.com account where Jay also refers to the first twenty-six episodes as a single season, and he comments on the interview's post with his Jay account and it's to correct on a name, not to deny the interview.Grand Commander13 (talk) 23:35, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- Um, you do know I only reverted one of your edits right? Because, I didn't do anything else afterwards... If the info's correct, then go ahead, edit. If you want people to know about these sources, you can tell us about in by placing the info (as well as the source's address) in a hidden comment. You can create a hidden comment by typing the message between these:<!-- Place comment here -->. It will then be visible to anyone who edits (and checks the diffs). Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 23:59, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- I already had my pow-wow with the other dude who reverted my edit. ^_^ Sounds good, and nice tip on the comment. I'll pack in the reference to Cartoon Network then. Good times!Grand Commander13 (talk) 01:24, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Why do I have 32 people watching my talk page! I like it but I want to know why? (Do you watch my page?)--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 20:41, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- *smiles sheepishly* Well yeah, but I only started yesterday. As for all the talk page stalkers, I guess maybe you're just popular?--Twilight Helryx 20:44, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
You dont have to unwatch my page. (After all you did fix and answer that question it when that IP messed it up) Spongefrog has like 37 though.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 20:47, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- That's a lot of stalkers. X3 I think I only have two or three (or four) but some of them may have stopped watching. Ah well, that's not important. No one really pays attention to how many centijimbos you have. Anyway, I think we should stop talking lest another WikiVampire chomp us for "MySpacing". *looks around nervously* --Twilight Helryx 20:51, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

- You can request it be removed from the blacklist here. Sorry I'm so handicapped right now. D= --Twilight Helryx 03:29, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Read it,the article makes no,mention of Art Rock. It's just a very misleading title on the article. Again if this could be sourced we would not have to be digging so hard for sources. This is one of the most written about albums in history yet we can not find one mention of it influencing art rock. Ridernyc (talk) 03:42, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I can't right now as I currently have access to only a handful of select sites. I might have full access on Thanksgiving but I'll have to wait and see. Until then, I'm staying out of this. Mago, just pick one related source and only write down the things it exactly says. Again, do not add anything that is not stated explicitly. If it doesn't Art rock, don't put anything in art rock, nor mention art rock anywhere else. Same goes for the others.--Twilight Helryx 03:51, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi my friend, I edited art rock with good sources.
Here: According Carys Wyn Jones in his book The rock canon: canonical values in the reception of rock albums, art rock is a period of rock music starting with the artistic ambitions of Pet Sounds or Sgt Peppers.[3]
History : 1960s-1970s
In 1966 The Beach Boys released the Pet Sounds album by Brian Wilson, contributing to a further period of rock music with artistic ambitions, in its detailed, multi-layered arrangements, into a symphonic whole.[10][11]
The source [3] and [10] are the same, and [11] is All Music about in its detailed, multi-layered arrangements, into a symphonic whole.
Do you liked? (Mago266 (talk) 20:23, 5 December 2009 (UTC)) I am available to a user adoption here Can you adoptme? Ridernyc deleted again, but my last source connected directly to the Art rock name and was not original research. (Mago266 (talk) 03:26, 9 December 2009 (UTC))

I am amazed at your abilities to be an awsome editor and yet you have been here for a few months! Good Job! Coldplay Expért Let's talk 22:36, 25 November 2009 (UTC) |
Aww, thanks! You're a pretty awesome editor yourself, you know. =3 --Twilight Helryx 22:39, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- That may be true, but I originally was'nt. Take a look at my block log and my early contribs. Thats why I never got one of these.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 22:48, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Looked at the log but I only saw one and I'm assuming that one was misguided since the don't have any socks and the sockpuppet investigation proves it. The other one was intended for someone else and got removed. But even if the former does stick, who cares? What matters is what you do now, not what happened in the past. If we all dwelled on that, a loooooooot of users would be squashed by now. ;) Don't worry, I believe that those contributions were simply the result of inexperience; more people than you may know go through that. I simply had the good fortune to initially be one of those who wish to remain out-of-sight (i.e. I was extremely wary about giant edits and editing outside my comfort zone). Of course, as you may infer from my recent edits, that's no longer the case with me. =P --Twilight Helryx 23:02, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah I guess your right but my early history and that block will be Major issues in any future RFA.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 23:10, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
And I think those issues can be easily addressed; the block for being wrongly given and the early edits for being inexperience. To be honest, I don't think any sensible person would use early edits as "evidence" that you won't be a good admin because many people make the same mistakes when they start out. ;) Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 23:16, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Oh duh! I cant belive I never thought of that! Anyway, have you ever though about going up for an RFA in the future? --Coldplay Expért Let's talk 23:19, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, especially give how AIV reports sometimes sit there for a frustratingly long time among other issues. But I'm not going to until I'm positive I'm really ready. For now, I'm just going to bulk up my resume, observe other's RfA's, and grow from experience. ;3 --Twilight Helryx 23:27, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thats nice. I not have a gradeing criteria for any RFA's that I !vote in. User:Coldplay Expert/RFA Standards. Once I meet all of my requirements ill think about going up for one.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 23:59, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

I noticed that you have that page up for GA status. I think that its funny that your goals are to get Bionicle related articles to GA and maybe FA status and for me, World War II related articles to GA and FA status. Anyway if you ever are in need of help in the upcomming GAN (fixing refs, typos, grammar ect) just ask, ill be happy to help. (As long as I get some credit...no im just playing)--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 01:24, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Heh, well, I just think that it's a pity two of the articles were demoted and I think the main article deserves FA status. But just to let you know, I'm also working on Spix's Macaw (which you can see on my To-Do list) and African Grey. However, they are both in need of clean-up which I am working on right now. Do you happen to know anything about these parrots? I don't have a problem with African Grey (because I have a book here), but I don't have access any sources for Spix's Macaw at the moment.--Twilight Helryx 01:28, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- To be honest, African Grey just needs more citations, which I don't really have much access to (and the info from the book I have won't be of much help here).--Twilight Helryx 01:31, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry im not that much into parrots. Just Coldplay and Warfare :) Odd combination isnt it?--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 01:34, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- To be honest, African Grey just needs more citations, which I don't really have much access to (and the info from the book I have won't be of much help here).--Twilight Helryx 01:31, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hehheh, kinda. But then, so's Bionicle and parrots. X3 I'm not sure if Spix's Macaw still needs clean-up, but I can't request a peer review until tag's gone. But I won't remove that tag until I'm positive. Do you think you can give me a second opinion?--Twilight Helryx 01:37, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sure if you want.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 01:39, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
'Kay. Please tell me what you think. And if you like, I'll go see if I can pitch in on WWII.--Twilight Helryx 01:41, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- OK, here's what I noticed.
- You may want to put some ref's on the first paraghraph as it is the into to the whole article.
- The main picture of the animal is a terrible version. That needs to be fixed.
- Speaking aobut ref's the whole article is lacking several ref's as there are only 6.
- You may want to change "History and Conservation Efforts" to two seperate sections, "History" and "Conservation Efforts'.
- Other than that, It looks good, its kinda and lacking ref's short but an article is an article.
I hope that helps :)--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 01:51, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. Thank you very much. I might be able to address some of the issues now and the rest tomorrow (when I have full access). Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 01:58, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
- Oh dont mention it! and as for the WWII artilce, I think that we got everything down exept getting rid of duplacate links to new articles (es seeing a blue link for Romaina once and then seeing it again as a blue link a rew paragraphs later) So tahts what im not focusing on now.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 02:02, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, noticed that on the GA page. I'll see if I can clean that up.--Twilight Helryx 02:06, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

- Heh, well once; but don't worry, I was just getting rid of a dupe link so it was easy to redo. ;) I'm more worried about edit-conflicting you because it's so hard to keep track of citations on the edit page, so I hope I didn't cause any for you. D= --Twilight Helryx 21:53, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Alex the parrot--retracting Dr. Terrace?
Hello!
I am curious why you removed the additional quotation I provided on Dr. Terrace's stance in respect to Alex the parrot's abilities. I quoted him directly out of the same NYT article that was originally cited at the end of the sentence.
Perhaps it was not useful? I think it might have been, because it clarifies that Dr. Terrace thought Alex discriminated between different stimuli provided to him (simple questions with vocabulary he knew, food, etc.) and vocalized associated words that he had been taught, so Terrace would contend that Alex did not necessarily reflect on information beyond memorized associations immediately related to the current stimulus.
I might be overthinking this, but I'd just be curious to get your perspective. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sisyphustkd (talk • contribs) 04:46, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm...I think I might have misread the sentence; I was pretty tired yesterday so I accidentally (and quite embarrassingly) misread it as Pepperburg saying it. So, I'll revert my revert. Sorry. x.x"

- You're not the only one who knows "Ben 10 stuff"; I've been watching the series since the original first came out. Just because I didn't mention it doesn't mean I'm not a devout fan, so next time think twice before making accusations. Fangface is not the name of the Omnitrix alien; it's a name used for the video game enemy. If you're concerned about the video game enemies not being mentioned, rest assured that it's already present in List of villains in Ben 10#Yenaldooshi, where it should go. But if it's been mentioned by a reliable source that Ben Wolf is also called "Fangface", please provide it. Otherwise, your conclusion is original research and does not belong here.
By the way, next time, please sign your comments. You can do so by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end. Thank you.--Twilight Helryx 04:15, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
Re: careful
Thanks for the note. It should be noted that a lot of my edits have been userspace merely because of the Bacon WikiCup, which is a bacon-themed version of the Wikipedia:WikiCup. For the Bacon Challenge 2010 we are building articles in userspaces only to reserve them for a grand debut in the mainspace in March next year. I am also the scorekeeper, and I therefore also spend a lot of edits keeping up with the points. On another note, the WikiComedy in my userspace is a one-off project of mine compiling my favorite funny edits of 2009. When these projects are finished with, it is possible that things will go back to normal.--Sky Attacker the legend reborn... 04:32, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Bionicle 2009-2011
As there is no Bionicle book series for 2009-2011, there is an obvious problem as to where te story summary should lie. Personally, I'd advocate adding it to the "Bionicle- Legends" page. What do you think? --Kopaka Teridax (talk) 01:36, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Orange Star Congratulations, Jade Harley! Within the past three days, you received the Red Star for being hard working, kind to others, and for being an excellent user in general. You've now been chosen to receive the next higher up award, the Orange Star. A record of this award will always be kept at User:Meaghan/Shining Stars. Enjoy! Article Suggestions
Twi, it's me. I am trying to do some editing during Christmas, but I don't have very many article ideas. Can you give me a list of any articles you think I might be able to edit that need editing? Thanks--Jakkinx Merry Christmas! 21:00, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hi Jakkinx. Sorry I didn't answer this sooner as I was quite busy the past few days. But I can offer you some suggestions. There are two GA nominees that would require some assistance. One is World War II and the other is Bionicle. Many of the changes needed for World War II are minor so it shouldn't be too much trouble while Bionicle needs a few additional info as well as some minor clean-up. Please let me know if you would like to work on different articles.--Twilight Helryx 16:51, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Merry Christmas
Dear Jade Harley,
Wishing you, your family, and friends a very merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate at this time of year), and I hope that the new year will be a good one, in real life, and on the wiki. There is always a reason to spread the holiday spirit; it's a special time of year of almost everyone. ;)
Love and best wishes, Meaghan - Merry Christmas! - 00:18, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Merry Christmas!
December21st2012Freak Happy Holidays! is wishing you a Merry Christmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Well I was going to use the five links that were posed on the GAN to make a new section but I dont know what to call it. They arent really product reviews are they?--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 16:03, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- They're actually production and reception info with a little impact (which I think would also merit its own section) thrown in. I've just made a section for Production; the section you want to create would be titled "Reception". ;) --Twilight Helryx 16:06, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

ANI?
Oh God please help me. I cant comment over there because I cant get all wraped up in this. I have to get some sleep!--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 03:36, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- Honestly, I don't think there's any way this guy will stop talking, and ANI would only fan the flames. My advice is to just pretend he's not there (i.e. don't answer any more of his comments). A dog will bark ever more loudly, but he'll have to stop sooner or later. To use a cliche, "what goes up must come down". Hope this helps.--Twilight Helryx 15:52, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
The 2010 WikiCup begins tomorrow!
Welcome to the biggest WikiCup Wikipedia has yet seen! Round one will take place over two months, and finish on February 26. There is only one pool, and the top 64 will progress. The competition will be tough, as more than half of the current competitors will not make it to round 2. Details about scoring have been finalized and are explained at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring. Please make sure you're familiar with the scoring rules, because any submissions made that violate these rules will be removed. Like always, the judges can be reached through the WikiCup talk pages, on their talk page, or over IRC with any issues concerning anything tied to the Cup. We will keep in contact with you via weekly newsletters; if you do not want to receive them, please remove yourself from the list here. Conversely, if a non-WikiCup participant wishes to receive the newsletters, they may add themselves to that list. Well, enough talk- get writing! Your submission's page is located here. Details on how to submit your content is located here, so be sure to check that out! Once content has been recognized, it can be added to your submissions page, from which our bot will update the main score table. Remember that only articles worked on and nominated during the competition are eligible for points. Have fun, and good luck! Garden, iMatthew, J Milburn, and The ed17 19:24, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Bionicle Ga
Hi, you asked for an extension to til the end of January - "but I think I can by the end of January." Consequently I failed the nomination and removed the nomination from GAN and placed the failed GA banner on the talk page, so that can't be undone. Seven days is the norm for GA reviews, but I was happy to extwend to two weeks over the holiday period. Six weeks is far too long. Feel free to take to WP:GAR if you disagree. The artcile really needs a lot of wordk and I suggest tat you look at the otehr Bionicle artcioles as well before they get reviewed. Jezhotwells (talk) 18:00, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- I later left a request for just one week. But that's okay; I'm pretty busy lately, so I'll use my spare time to clean it up and look at it more thoroughly. Once I I work out the bugs, I'll see you then. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 18:50, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Re:World War II GA question
I didn't check closely, but I think 28+29 should be the same (although they look quite different, so I'm not surprised you missed that!). Some of the References are also cited in full in Notes, which is unnecessary duplication. There might be others too...(and there's still a lot of formatting inconsistency in Notes, if you want more to work on :)). Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 01:33, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

- I'm going back to work on WWII and am planning on starting an article about a certain piano company I know that was once big, but is quite obscure now (what with Yamahas and Steinways) and possibly no longer producing any more pianos (I'll have to check, though). Unfortunately, I am source-blind again and will have to find some other time to do this. For now, all I can do is do things that don't involve sourcing. I'm probably not going to get past round 1 and would be happy if I could at least get one thing on my submissions page. x.x" --Twilight Helryx 18:41, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

As soon as it's long enough, we can nominate it for DYK.--Twilight Helryx 19:12, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- Sure. Ill look it up and see what I can find. What exactly do you think that I should lok for? Sentences or just the sources?--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 19:26, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

As you know, in many international organizations, the People's Republic of China tries to ban the Republic of China from being a member. In Wikicup 2010, this has not happened. Greetings. I carry the flag of Finland in Wikicup 2010 and you carry the flag of the Republic of China on Taiwan.
Are there any areas that we can cooperate to get more points? Working together will achieve more than working alone. If I work alone, I might get, at most, 2 FA, 3 GA, 6 DYK in one year. That is worth 380 points, not nearly enough to survive elimination, much less win. Even if you don't want formal cooperation, just say hello to me! Hi. Service award update
Hi Twilight. I conducted the GAN review for Bionicle: Mask of Light. I'm sorry to say I identified too many issues with the page as it stands right now, so I did not pass it. I've outlined my concerns at the GAN review page. As I said there, please don't be discouraged by this review, and instead try to see it as constructive criticism that will hopefully lead to a stronger article. Hope to see you follow through on these suggestions and bring this back to GAN in the future once the issues are resolved. Sorry again, and good luck! — Hunter Kahn 18:01, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

There was this article about the Makuta as a Brotherhood during the part where the Makuta where the main enemies, listing all their powers and abilities, there was like, forty two or something. But I'm pretty sure it got deleted. Anyway, I'll try and see if I can help on your current sandbox article, but you really should have a few pics, you know. I can't help there, sorry. I'm Retired
I am indeed Retired. I know this is a bit of a letdown for you, loosing an adoptee like this, and I hate to do it to you, but for personal reasons, large ammounts of schoolwork, and a busy life, I have to leave. I hope such a thing doesn't happen to you, but who knows? No one is safe while the admins have free rein. I don't mean to sound bitter or angry, but that's just the way it is. I won't be very depressing here, since you have enough to do. Just do me the favor of stopping by my talk page to say goodbye. I hope I can come back someday, but I might not. We will just have to see. Anyway, thanks for being a great friend and a good adopter, and maybe we will meet again in the future. See ya 'round! :) --Jakkinx Talk to me! 02:10, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, it's okay; I understand. I'm pretty busy myself right now and am also unable to edit actively. You think you can edit during the summer? I most likely will have more spare time then as well. But no matter your decision, I wish you the best of luck in life. =) Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 04:51, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- I might be able to do some summer editing, I will have to see how things are going then. I really can't say right now, it all depends. I would very much like to, however.--Jakkinx Talk to me! 05:27, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
WikiCup 2010 January newsletter
We are half way through round one of the WikiCup. We've had some shakeups regarding late entries, flag changes and early dropouts, but the competition is now established- there will be no more flag changes or new competitors. Congratulations to Sasata (submissions), our current leader, who, at the time of writing, has more listed points than Hunter Kahn (submissions) and TonyTheTiger (submissions) (second and third place respectively) combined. A special well done also goes to Fetchcomms (submissions)- his artcle Jewel Box (St. Louis, Missouri) was the first content to score points in the competition.
Around half of competitors are yet to score. Please remember to submit content soon after it is promoted, so that the judges are able to review entries. 64 of the 149 current competitors will advance to round 2- if you currently have no points, do not worry, as over half of the current top 64 have under 50 points. Everyone needs to get their entries in now to guarantee their places in round 2! If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, and you hope to get it promoted before the end of the round, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, by email or on IRC. Good luck! Hello Twilight! I was wondering, what will you do for the WP:CUP? You don;t have any points and there's only 14 days left. I think that I'll pass through because I have 100 points. (2 GA's and 2 DYK's) So what are you planning to do, if anything?--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 03:55, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I've got List of The Secret Saturdays episodes up for featured list, and I'm hoping to find some time for the List of Ben 10 episodes. Cheers!--Twilight Helryx 03:57, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- That will give you 40 points, enough to pass the first round. As for the second round. I've already got another DYK stored up here. That and I'll probably nominate German Type UB I submarine for WP:GTC and possibly Battle of the Netherlands for a GA. (sorry if I'm pouring it on. I hope that I did;nt look like a show off)--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 04:02, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
