Point-of-view article forking
[edit]According to our content forking guideline, it is not acceptable to create a second article because you don't like the way the first article treats the subject. Please see the suggestions at WP:POVFORK for ideas on how to proceed. Thanks. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 18:24, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
That is not the reason. You misunderstood. Knanaya Catholics is a different topic from Knanaya. An Encyclopedia should be telling truth. I am not presenting views but facts based on evidence.
Knanaya is a wider term like Christians. "Knanaya Catholics" means Knanaya people that are only members of the Catholic Church under the Pope. They are the majority of Knanaya people, well organized under the Catholic Church and are separate from other factions of Knanaya. So just like Catholics (also Christians) are to be treated separate from Christians, Knanaya Catholics are to be treated different from the wide term Knanaya. The views, the organizational structure, the culture, the history are different for Knanaya Catholics and Non-Catholic Knanaya. That is why I present a different one for Knanaya Catholics. I have done detailed study on the topic based on reliable historical sources and I have a good collection of Knanaya Catholics and Knanaya at large. Please feel free to ask me clarification on this rather than directing "Knanaya Catholics" to "Knanaya" They are not identical. I am still keep working and updating the page "Knanaya Catholics" because I have to verify my presentation with the historical sources I have. I appreciate your good will to keep the Wikipedia the best way possible. However, Knanaya Catholics are upset the way this topic is distorted in Wikipedia by some who might be doing it with their understanding. Appreciate your patience. Jacobbijo1 (talk)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Jacobbijo1, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your additions to Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church Chicago have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:22, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]The article Knanayology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
I am unable to find multiple independent reliable sources about this subject.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ... discospinster talk 03:12, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Knanaya Global Foundation, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IL. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Souvenir la.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Souvenir la.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}}
(to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 23:45, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Knanaya Global Foundation
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Knanaya Global Foundation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Onel5969 TT me 14:59, 21 April 2021 (UTC)
