Edits to Diving suit
[edit]Hi Jack, Welcome to Wikipedia. I see you have made some interesting edits to Diving suit, including a red link for a picture of a stinger suit, which I have formatted to produce an image that will fit in with the rest of the article, and moved so it will display wher I think it will look best. If you have other ideas about the layout you are free to propose them on the article talk page, or just go ahead and make the changes, just like any other editor. I do a lot of work on the Underwater diving articles and am currently the janitorial staff (self appointed) since there not many editors currently active in this category. Please feel free to ask me how to do something if you have difficulty - I might know something that will help.
I assume you are intending to upload a photo for the stinger suit section. This should preferably be done on Wikimedia Commons, so it is available for all the language versions and other Wikimedia projects. The most appropriate category on Commons would be "Wetsuits". If you have a reference for your edits, please provide it, as it improves the credibility of the article. If you can't work out how to format the reference, just leave the details on the talk page and I or someone else will do the formatting. It is not difficult, but the process can be confusing at first. Peter (Southwood) (talk): 07:41, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
- Jack, You can respond here as I am watching this page. It is ordinary practice to watch a page that one has left a message on, like above, in case there is a response, or if you click on the little (talk) link in my signature it will take you to my talk page, which is the other standard in-wiki place to reply. If the reply is specifically relevant to the article [[Diving suit}} it might be appropriate to leave a message on its talk page. Otherwise a personal email will do for a private message. If you go to my talk page and click on the link "E-mail this user" in the left column menu in "Toolbox" it will open a mail message page. Cheers, Peter (Southwood) (talk): 06:55, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
