- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

Salacia
[edit]Hi. Yes, Salacia may be borderline as a dwarf. The refs we have cut off at Orcus, but since then Salacia's been found to be denser than thought. Still, later sources I've seen call it 'dwarf-planet sized' without actually claiming it's a dwarf. Personally, I suspect Orcus won't prove to be a dwarf either, but the definition's rather ambiguous. Anyway, if you come across any RS's that Salacia is a dwarf planet, we'd appreciate hearing about them! — kwami (talk) 00:10, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to List of Florida hurricanes (2000–present) while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. re Territorial evolution
[edit]I appreciate the interest but the edit you made, and the picture you uploaded, are inaccurate. The vast bulk of Canal Zone was turned over in 1979, with only a few tiny parcels left over by the time the final handover took place in 1999. --Golbez (talk) 07:19, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
