UberCryxic

[edit]

UberCryzic has vandalized the Stormfront page four times - this is not a mere content dispute. I have made an effort to change the wording to make the content more agreeable and he deletes it out of hand. I make extensive arguments for keeping the paragraph and he deletes it without making one. He is trying to take ownership of the article. Stick to the Facts 03:10, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have no prior involvement with this dispute, but if you have issues with the article you need to discuss on the talk page. WP:AIV is for obvious vandalism only; please see WP:VANDAL. If, after thorough discussion, you feel that the dispute has not been satisfactorily resolved, you may progress to dispute resolution. Isopropyl 03:13, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Vandalism includes intentionally disrupting the site via repeated blanking of pages or parts of pages. He has had three warnings and has done it again. He does not provide arguments for removing content - I've provided *11* cites and he still insists I've done 'original research.' Every cite is to either legal statute or to direct proof of content and opinion on a website.
You made this determination quite quickly. Can you reconsider it? How should I take the next step to deal with this. Thank you, Stick to the Facts 03:25, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I thought I should drop in a line since this was about me. My edits were all well-meant and taken in good faith, hence they cannot possibly be vandalism. More disturbingly, however, the user is wantonly accusing people of vandalism (not just me, but other editors who are involved in the relevant article) for seemingly the sole purpose of gaining the moral high ground and giving legitimacy to his edits. That is, he realizes this is not vandalism, but is willing to continue to make those accusations to forego serious debate. It's a nice way to appear like you're supporting the policies of Wikipedia while subverting Wikipedia itself. And finally, the user was banned for his actions in the article for contravening the decision reached by three other editors (he violated 3RR in undoing our edits).UberCryxic 03:37, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What are you?!

[edit]

Are you a person or a chemical? If the latter, are you the kind I can drink and be happy or the kind that I can drink but may die? -Taco325i 17:53, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Revert to Terrell Owens

[edit]

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Terrell Owens: You may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit was inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Life, Liberty, Property 03:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I respectfully disagree. In general, I believe that inappropriate user warnings are counterproductive in that they discourage legitimate participation. Thank you for concern. Isopropyl 23:05, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Isopropyl, I accidentally blocked you, then immediately reverted myself. I do apologize. I hope you were not affected. If for some reason this needs further attention, please let me know. (I did block User:Cm8765, who you had been reverting on Pope.) –RHolton04:38, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Still blocked

[edit]

Not sure what the right template is here, Rholton lifted my block but I still can't edit. Isopropyl 04:42, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Wikipedia

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wikipedia (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:03, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article The Finals has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

DAB page with only one blue link plus one red link.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Can you point out the NPOV issue? - RoyBoy 04:47, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Isopropyl/Blankown requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an unambiguous misrepresentation of established policy.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. 76.254.122.124 (talk) 03:31, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Bodycord.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:17, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
