about Nuclear receptor nomenclature

Hallo!

2DBD-NRs Discovered in 2006 and already occupying the NR7 NRNC Symbol, it has been accepted by some articles.

NR8 subfamily was discovered in 2015, renaming it or some of the amphioxus NR1Hs genes to NR7 is a misreading.This will cause a lot of inconvenience, and Wikipedia should reduce this kind of misreading.

PS: Cytochrome P450#Nomenclature has its Cytochrome P450 Homepage and CYP Allele Nomenclature Committee. Is there a similar in Nuclear receptor?

Hello, Isaidnoway. You recently reverted back some changes to "The Death of Eleanor de Freitas". Please could you change it back on the following basis. The Copyright of the Court of Appeal belongs to the Crown. The bailii website whom you state owns the copyright, in fact copied the judgement themselves onto their website, they are not the copyright owner, so there are no infringements to them. Court of Appeal Judgements in England are subject to an "open licence" when it comes to Copyright, which means anyone can copy them. Which is why bailii can copy it, and why wikipedia or anyone else can copy it. A court judgement is a public document, it is not w work of literature of a commercial work. The current status of this wikipedia page is 80% in favour of de Freitas. It is not in balence. Most of the references are from feminists of people who had absolutely no connection to the case other than speculating. The actual facts in court documents are mostly committed and replaced with opinion. This is about court cases, yet the material from court documents is not allowed. This is absurd. An interview with Economou is not allowed because he was interviewed by a right wing newspaper, the Daily Mail? Really. An actual interview is dismissed? Yet de Freitas allegations are quoted word for word. Wikipedia is a load of old rubbish. @Keithgreenfan, when I first came across that article during the WikiProject Unreferenced articles's FEB24 backlog drive, I had never heard of that magazine, and was worried it was so obscure that I wouldn't be able to find any sources for it. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of coverage it had actually received in its heyday. And then of course later on it received coverage because of Jenette Kahns initial involvement. But to answer your question, no, I don't actually know when the last issue came out, but eBay and other commerce sites are your best best, as you mentioned. Good luck. Classicwiki - my guess it is the same user judging by the proximity of their geolocations and the same pattern of editing behavior. I only ran across the article because it was listed in a category where I was doing clean up of citation errors. I'll have a look though and review their edits. A question concerning screen readers

I think I've dealt with your concern about colors at comparison of anti-ballistic missile systems by adding a question mark to the status of the items noted as questionable by color. The other entries already had out-of-service dates/status and in-development notes. My question now concerns flagicons. The flagicons now display with the name "Republic of Korea" etc below - does a screen reader perceive that? If not, how do you suggest it be approached? Acroterion, I didn't notice the Period of use column, so yeah, that column works, my apologies. Might I suggest to match the same terminology in the 'Legend', with the table, specifically Under development or In development and Unknown status or Awaiting development, so they match, while screen readers can not read colors, it will read those words in the legend. And the flag icons are fine because they are accompanied with the text of the country. Thank you for reaching out on this issue, I appreciate it. I will remove the tag since it is not required. I think I'll make the wording consistent throughout, there's really no distinction between "under development," "in development," etc., it was just the way it developed over several days of editing. Justin - No, I will not undo a valid and legitimate edit. The work parameter is an acceptable use for the cite news template, as shown in the template documentation, and I have used the work parameter thousands of times in the cite news template when creating references. Additionally, the work parameter is an alias for the website parameter, and the source for the information comes from a website. You had no cause to change a valid citation in the first place. Moving it to the references section per WP:LDR is fine, but you had absolutely no reason to redo a citation to your personal preference. Please leave it alone. Thanks. Source of Errors

I've figured out the reason that the Kanye presidential campaign article got messed up when I attempted to edit it. I have a Windows computer and thus flag emojis do not appear for me, instead they appear as regional indicator characters (such as 🇺🇸 for the American flag). I installed the browser extension Flagmoji to make flags appear for me. This causes flag emojis to be replaced with the flags in appearance but they are actually searched and replaced with the long string of code "<img src="https://flagcdn.com/us.svg" alt="<img src=" https:="" flagcdn.com="" us.svg"="" style="width: 0.9em; padding: 0 0.05em">" style="width: 0.9em; padding: 0 0.05em">". There were US flag emojis in the Kanye West article and the web extension searched and replaced the emojis, breaking the code. South Yorkshire

Hi @Isaidnoway, what was the reference error on the South Yorkshire page? The infobox shouldn't be pulling any data for metropolitan counties using the GSS code so I'll need to fix the infobox code but I can't identify any errors? Thanks Dgp4004 (talk) 23:08, 17 July 2024 (UTC)

Page listed at pages with incorrect ref formatting - a list-defined reference has no name. When I changed it back to just one GSS code, the reference error disappeared. Could have been a glitch maybe, don't know, but the ref error went away when it was changed back to one code. No, it is not back on the list, and the other three mentioned above are gone as well. I sometimes wonder if it is the BOT that checks for ref errors on pages that has a glitch once in a while and incorrectly adds pages to that cat that don't actually have ref errors.
