wikipedia Page
Dear InterstellarGamer12321,
I hope this message finds you well. Recently, I received notification that my Wikipedia page has been declined. While I understand that Wikipedia has strict guidelines for creating pages, I would like to ask for a bit more information on why my page was declined so I can make the necessary adjustments and improve my chances of having a successful page.
Additionally, I wanted to bring to your attention my film, Rooted Betrayal, which is currently available on Amazon Prime. I believe this film could be notable enough to warrant a Wikipedia page, and I would be happy to provide you with any additional information you may need to make this determination.
Thank you for considering my request, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Sir Largie (talk) 17:39, 25 April 2023 (UTC)
- @Sir Largie: thank you for messaging me about your concerns related to my review of your draft. This is why it was declined:
- First of all, it is a WP:BLP article. This means every statement must be backed up with a reliable source in the form of an inline citation. However when I reviewed your draft this was not the case. Additionally, the references in the article were not placed properly. Inline citations should be in the body of the article immediately after a word or sentence. They should not be in the References section. Because of the fact that the inline citations were not in the body of the article, it looked like all of the text was unreferenced, which would violate multiple guidelines. You can see MOS:CITE and WP:INCITE for information on how to cite sources properly. Once these issues are fixed, you can resubmit the draft.
- Also, it seems that you have a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, if you are writing about yourself or someone who you are related to in some way. You must declare your COI (see the link for more information). As for your film, Wikipedia is not a site for advertisement. You can write a draft about it, but you will have to declare your COI and make sure it has a neutral point of view. I appreciate the fact that Wikipedia has a lot of guidelines and policies, which is why I suggest that you should read the guidelines I have linked before writing/improving articles. Draft:Hans-Joachim Lauth
Hello! I checked the draft on Hans-Joachim Lauth and added more ressources and links from reliable independent sources. I am not sure if this is enough yet so I wanted to check, if there is any possibility that you can help me with checking. Thank you in advance! ThomaMi?q (talk) 09:58, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- @ThomaMi?q: thank you for getting back to me about your draft. As this is a WP:BLP article, every statement should be backed up with in inline citation to a reliable source. This is currently not the case, so you should add more inline citations. If you cannot verify any information with a reference then it is fine to remove it. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 06:47, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
- @InterstellarGamer12321 Thank you for the advice on the editing process. I will try my best to follow the guidelines! And get back to you if there are any questions. Thanks for your patience! ThomaMi?q (talk) 08:13, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
- Dear @InterstellarGamer12321, since I unfortunately reach my competence limits, I would like to have the draft:Hans-Joachim Lauth deleted in the English version. How can I proceed here, since I have not found a delete button to not publish my draft now after all? Thanks in advance for the help! ThomaMi?q (talk) 09:29, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
- @ThomaMi?q: you can put a {{db-g7}} template on your draft to indicate that you want it to be speedily deleted. An administrator should then come and delete it promptly. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 13:22, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for answering! Do I get any notification if the article is deleted? I do not find it anymore so I think that it has already happened. So thank you for helping me through the process. ThomaMi?q (talk) 07:56, 31 May 2023 (UTC)
- @ThomaMi?q: the draft has already been deleted. If you go onto the page creator, you will be able to see a notice that the draft was speedily deleted because of the {{db-g7}} template added. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 09:50, 31 May 2023 (UTC)

Draft: Franz Wilhelm Peren
Dear Installer Gamer 12321,
I recently received the following decline message under my article:
Comment: As this is a WP:BLP article every statement should be backed up by a reliable source. See MOS:BIO to fix the formatting issues in the article. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 10:51, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
I understand that wikipedia has strict guidelines when it comes to publishing and I am trying my best to follow them.
However, to avoid misunderstandings of the comment, I kindly want to ask for more clarification.
Is the general reason for the decline the fact that the statements need to be quoted more clearly or is it about the general structure of this article.
Whenever I am aware of the problem i will of course try to fix it as soon as possible.
Thanks a lot in advance!! Akropolis17 (talk) 16:16, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Akropolis17: thank you for getting back to me about my comment under your draft. First of all, I did not decline your draft, I only put a comment under it. It is still submitted for review and can be accepted or declined. My primary issue was the lack of reliable sourcing: a WP:BLP article like your draft should have some sort of reference to back up every statement, but when I saw your draft this was not the case. A less major issue was that the article was not correctly formatted, but can be fixed by following what is laid out at MOS:BIO. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 06:51, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
Draft:Siberian Ingrian Finnish
Hello @InterstellarGamer12321! Thank you for your comment for article Draft:Siberian Ingrian Finnish! What changes should be made to the text so that the article reads like an encyclopedia article? Please write examples. When I wrote the article, I adhered to strict writing criteria, all facts are confirmed by links. Maybe there are specific mistakes in the article, stylistic problems, or do you have suggestions that need to be taken into account in the article? Ubaleht (talk) 18:36, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Ubaleht: thank you for getting back to me about your draft. The issues were relatively minor, which is why I put a comment instead of declining it. The History section has multiple unreferenced paragraphs and feels like it needs a copyedit. The prose should be more concise - it currently rambles a lot which is why I thought it was like a WP:ESSAY. The only sections you should copyedit are the first three - the rest are fine. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 06:28, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
- @InterstellarGamer12321 thanks for the reply, now I know what to do! Ubaleht (talk) 18:36, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
Hello InterstellarGamer12321! Tell me please, which there sections are we talking about? I added more inline citation in the article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiridon Svidlov (talk • contribs) 11:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Spiridon Svidlov: when I had reviewed your draft the sections that the unreferenced had long titles beginning with Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. Although inline citations have been added since my review there is still some unreferenced information. These section should probably be merged into one section. For a Film article it would be good to add Production, Marketing, Release and Reception sections with reliable sources that establish notability. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | contribs) 18:13, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your comment. Regarding the sections - the point is that this is the film's structure. The film itself consists of three separate films.
- Regarding the marketing, unfortunately, I don't have the exact information at the moment. I hope other users will be able to add it when the article is public. Spiridon Svidlov (talk) 07:20, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
