See WP:BLP and WP:BLPCAT. The source you mentioned the edit history looks more like a personal blog and doesn't look like a reliable source for bio info. They just made an assertion in the headline with nothing to back it, likely looking at the name and making a presumptions. People from Spain, for example, have Spanish style names and are not Latinx.
