- Welcome!
Hello, IESS Casablanca, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with Arabic; did you know there is a Arabic Wikipedia? You may prefer to contribute there instead. In any case, welcome to the project, and thank you for your efforts! If you need help, please feel free to notify me on my talk page. Vanjagenije (talk) 16:23, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "IESS Casablanca", may not comply with our username policy. Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a username change that complies with our username policy. Blocked
[edit]- Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
- Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?
Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.
- What can I do now?
If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.
If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:
- Add the text
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
on your user talk page. - Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
- Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. IESS Casablanca, your user name represents the Institut Européen des Sciences de la Santé at Casablanca, which is a violation of our user name policy, and your edits have all been more or less promoting the institution, including the creation of a page on its director. If you wish to continue as an editor here, you will need to edit neutrally and non-promotionally and to change your user name. Yngvadottir (talk) 17:27, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Your new username would be fine. But please consider the following:
Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 21:30, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
- I noticed an issue here. The user is blocked, and he asked to be unblocked and to change the username. He should answer those three questions, and then the administrator should unblock him and move this userpage to the new username. But, the user did not wait for the administrator to unblocked him; instead, he created new account under the new username, Maha Mansour (talk · contribs). This may be considered block evasion, as the user is still formally blocked. Not just that he created new account, but he continued to edit the same page for which he has the Wp:Conflict of interest [1] and for which he was blocked. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:57, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
- @Vanjagenije: Actually, no it isn't. If they have opened a new account with an appropriate username, the issue that led to the block no longer exists as long as they formally abandon the blocked account and state the organizational affiliation and previous account on their new page.
