- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 14:15, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
AFDs
[edit]Hello, IDKUggaBanga,
You are a new editor who has made 16 edits so far. You do not have enough editing experience to knowledgeably participate in AFD deletion discussion because it is impossible for you to have learned about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please gain experience editing articles like most new editors do instead of jumping into deletion discussion where the policy knowledge is paramount. After a few months, you can tip your toe in the water after you are more aware about notability standards.
If you have questions, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:32, 11 May 2024 (UTC)

Sourcing
[edit]Hi! Next time you want to add a source to an article but aren't sure how, please leave a message on the talk page instead of directly (and incorrectly, although thanks for admitting it) adding it. To learn how to add sources to an article, please see WP:REFSTART (sourcing for beginners). Also, per the same page, X.com is almost always not a reliable source. Thank you, and welcome to Wikipedia!
