Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Air China Flight 129, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Samf4u (talk) 13:52, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. McSly (talk) 13:50, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. A tag has been placed on GHL Systems, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement of https://www.ghl.com/about-us. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Mr. DIY requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Hypersonic man 11. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Razer(talk) 08:35, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Siasun Robotics for deletion

[edit]

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Siasun Robotics until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Siasun Robotics, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page SSE (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:27, 29 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reminding me. The "sse" is the stock exchange short name.

Notice

The article Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Tun Tan Siew Sin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Primary school, no evidence of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sources

[edit]

Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Verifiability. When adding a reference, the source needs to concur with what's in the article; a cleanup template requesting "more sources" doesn't mean "use whatever you want to remove the template". Furthermore, Wikipedia (in any language) are not reliable sources.

Due to these sort of issues, I have reverted your 4 Sept 2020 edit to the PLAAF aircraft list. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 03:53, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not going to re-add your attributions to WAF2020 because of the reasons I alluded to. As examples:

  • WAF2020 lumps together "J-11/16/Su-27/30/35" into one category, but you used it to (incorrectly) verify the individual quantities in the article.
  • WAF2020 says there are 15 J-20s; you added a WAF2020 reference and changed the number of J-20's to 50+.

I could go and correct it, but that's time I don't feel like investing at this time. If you feel like doing it, be mindful of WP:BURDEN:

The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material.

- RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 15:53, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

For reference:

In it, you used WAF2020 as the source for the individual quantities of Su-27, Su-30, Su-35, J-11, and J-16.

In WAF2020 ([1]), on page 13, in the "China" section, subsection "People's Liberation Army Air Force", all of these aircraft are listed in a single row, type being "J-11/16/Su-27/30/35", with the quantity being "351". WAF2020 does not support the data you attributed to it.

Additionally, as I pointed out before, Wikipedia articles are not acceptable sources per Wikipedia:CIRCULAR which explicitly states:

Do not use articles from Wikipedia (whether this English Wikipedia or Wikipedias in other languages) as sources.

I - again - encourage you to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia:Verifiability, which is a Wikipedia core content policy. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 19:24, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, People's Liberation Army Air Force. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 15:30, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • You should not use deprecated sources (WP:DEPRECATED); which you did here

Then, you took the above two points and went on to misattribute information from a deprecated source to a completely different source (here and here.)

It's time to respect consensus and develop conscientious editing skills. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 11:34, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@RovingPersonalityConstruct Which article are you pointing out, lecturer. Since I'm not allowed to add Chinese origin state media reports on my Chinese based articles, what do you want me to do? Speak for the inaccuracy and misleading old information, wise lecturer. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 11:56, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@RovingPersonalityConstruct The Fuzhou class reverted edit is filled with prejudicement and injustice within the whole Wikipedia factbook and regulations. Look at the talkpage... How am I supposed to add that Global Times link on this ironic and catastrophically horrible site. How do you get the newest info other than Chinese state media. Speak for yourself with your inadequate 2.5 years experience. Scram off you've lecture me couple of times but this time, it is unacceptable. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 12:00, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@RovingPersonalityConstruct if you have your eyes wide opened, read the article from GT. What a foolish act. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 12:01, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@RovingPersonalityConstruct I noticed this severe crisis and issue, when the state media publishes info now, you must wait for foreign media to literally copy and paste the article until you can cite the exact same thing. bullish Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 12:03, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
what is this? an authorized verifying machine? Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 12:04, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=1077388283&diffmode=source
This is baseless, I could've added a SCMP source. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 14:30, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel so strongly about the existing consensus, then the best thing you can do is get involved in the community process and try to change it. For example, if you disagree with Global Times being on the deprecated list, you should raise that concern at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. Check out the sections of Wikipedia:Village pump too, if you are so inclined.

But regardless of the outcome, your edits are subject to Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Consensus. Yes, that may very well mean you may not edit in the way that you like; that's just the way it is. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 21:00, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did argue about it, fellow democratic and idiotic individuals on this platform just deem it a propaganda powerhouse... So, that's it. As for the WS-15 page, I'm going to add a verified source. For the Fuzhou class destroyer, I'm going to undo it and try to add the GT source. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 02:04, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Stop throwing in those regulation pages. I'm not going to open it because it is baseless. Wikipedia should be neutral and sourced properly Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 02:08, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Kajang Line Revert

[edit]

Please look at the reference first before you deem as unreferenced. It is inside the top line. “All trainsets data are as follows (updated December 2022)” There’s no point of me flooding the table with the same reference tag. Stop reverting with said accusation. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 03:06, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Vincent60030 fanpage isn't an accurate source, cite something directly from Prasarana or MRT Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 03:33, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As I mentioned yesterday, MOT/Prasarana Bhd., not fanpage. Please take note here. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 03:34, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you insist to proceed further with the citation, may I know where is the data from the fanpage sourced from? Is it from Prasarana or MOT. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 03:38, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
if not, that's clearly just an enthusiast-runned fanpage without clear verification and is considered unofficial Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 03:39, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You should do train tracking yourself and stop calling it a fanpage. It is a legitimate way of collecting data whether trains are seen or not. It is so simple. Don’t make this overcomplicating. Also can you stop preaching Prasarana or MOT as a reliable source? They are primary sources. WP:Primary Primary sources are less reliable than secondary sources. Do you need Prasarana people to go down and scout at every station to track which trains are in service? Use common sense. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 04:27, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also a word of advice, stop thinking you’re improving an article by only removing content. That’s not what editing is about. You have better tasks to help with than to remove things only. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 04:27, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That's a fanpage, it's even written within the website name. Who's doing the train tracking, how can the process be independently verified? Even so, Prasarana Bhd. or MOT are the only source that's reliable, fanpage are enthusiast-runned and isn't official, accurate or verified in any sense.
Furthermore, YES INDEED, Prasarana does have a team of technician at the depot to service rolling stocks and record their status, this job ULTIMATELY COMES DOWN TO PRASARANA/MOT instead of UNOFFICIAL FANPAGE.
Moreover, I didn't claim that any articles have been improved as the data got sweepingly deleted, it's just removing unverified facts and making the page more accurate, that is ultimately better than adding unverified and inaccurate yet misleading contents, as someone clearly did with the design, ridership data, and rolling stock status by citing unreliable fanpage runned by enthusiasts as well as voiding the citation.
A word of advice from me, mind your attitude and the way you express yourself, it's very naïve to attack someone rudely directly or indirectly on this free online encyclopedia. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 05:14, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, how is the trainset data collected, and where is it collected. Why are there unknowns and who is doing it? Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 05:17, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
MLPTF has its own verification done regularly. Plus it is also a registered organisation. It is official under ROS body. Again, primary sources include direct information given by the organisation who operates the railway. Data should be collected from independent people like rail enthusiasts AND the public who independently contribute to the trainset tracking database. I am pretty sure all Wikipedians can fly over to Kuala Lumpur and verify the trainsets themselves if that makes it more verifiable. Everyone have eyes to see. Why should data be collected only from the depot? MLPTF whilst being able to seek for verification, there is also a strict SOP on the status of trainsets. Unknown is not something fixed, and should not be held accountable for verifiability. However, it is different from “not spotted” due to the extent of the duration of the train being missing. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 08:10, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Judgement is just an user opinion and isn't accepted unless solid proof is shown. Still a fanpage, it's not official, verified nor accurate in any sense, too much unknowns, not spotted or guessing within the large table of data. Also, they've been train missing and not found since nearly 2 years ago, or train slated as decommissioned and is believed to be under repair in depot since the last century. Ultimately, there's to much uncertainty and inaccurate data to be classified as a proper source. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 13:56, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
MLPFT's SOP, procedure or process, whether as a registered or a non-profit fanpage, all of the above are mostly just user opinion and it is undeniable that MLPFT functions as a fanpage and as a rail-enthusiasts-runned unverified site that isn't accurate. Hypersonic man 11 (talk) 13:58, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I also want to clear the air that I apologise if my attitude protrayed hostility or passive aggressiveness. My intentions were to help on editing efficiency while being able to provide as much information as possible. I do not condone uncited sources should be read, but knowledge is knowledge. And my biggest priority, imho, should be to help expand content. Usually my last resort is to remove said content, which I have proven myself during my good article edit “marathons”. I do my best to hold the highest standards. And arguments do happen. But I just want the best for the reader ultimately. I hope you understand. I am also looking for a compromise to move the trainsets to a list, which I am ultimately seeking from others’ opinion too. Hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 08:10, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
