[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Vietnam War in film, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Vietnam War in film, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Andrew Davis (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Vietnam War in film. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason.
Not notable, list entries require their own article - FlightTime (open channel) 16:55, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm Berean Hunter. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Fall of Saigon, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.

- Please stop adding fancruft to articles on serious subjects. It is uncited trivia which is not germane to the real article subject.

Templates for Second Sino-Japanese War
[edit]Hey, I´ve seen you adding a great deal to Template:Campaignbox Second Sino-Japanese War. I don´t really have a stake at this but I think what you´re doing is very much going against the purpose of a campaignbox template, both in scope and in size, and thus not helpful. With all that additional material, wouldn´t it make more sense to use it to make a full and segmented template, like e.g. Template:American Civil War or Template:World War II? Just a suggestion of course ...GELongstreet (talk) 06:56, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, It would make more sense. Could you change it for me please ? Humperdoo (talk) 06:58, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- Am working on it. Give me a few hours to make a start, then you can expand and implement it. ...GELongstreet (talk) 07:24, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- So, has been created as Template:Second Sino-Japanese War. It is far from finished though and thus is awaiting your work. ...GELongstreet (talk) 11:33, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into List of massacres in China. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 17:39, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

Before adding a category to an article, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Campaign boxes
[edit]Hello, I've just reverted your addition of multiple campaign boxes to a range of articles. In general campaign boxes should be fairly specific to the battle/campaign covered by the article. Adding multiple campaign boxes is not likely to be helpful to readers, and is generally not necessary as the boxes include links to their 'parent' campaign/war. Campaign boxes should also only generally be added in articles where the article is linked in the box - their role is to help readers navigate fairly closely related articles, not to serve as a general set of links (which standard linking achieves). I've also reverted some changes where you added items to campaign boxes that are not relevant to the theme of the box. Please take greater care with this type of editing, especially when you are doing it at a very high volume, as this is essentially disruptive editing which can lead to blocks. [edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Japanese anime set in a fictional world reminiscent of Ancient China and Imperial China indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
