Air Wisconsin
[edit]I appreciate what you are trying to do reverting the Air Wisconsin additions and edits I made. I did spend a lot of time trying to make the Air Wisconsin page sound good and remove the management blasting banter that is on there now. Knowledge? Ive worked at AWAC for over 10 years as Captain. The sources are common knowledge, press releases and our executives. CEO Jim Rankin just up and quit to become president of Columbia Helicopters. Pat Thompson has stepped in as interim CEO. I removed the Delta Connection update portion as it was only sent to AWAC employees as an email but has not been officially released to the press. The rest of the updates are only rearranging sentences to make nice sounding coherrant paragraphes and make the the piece flow better. Any additions are common knowledge from my experiences of working there for over decade. [edit]Are you sure about this? because say we have two plus operators on the operator stack, there is no point pushing the 1st plus to the queue when when we encounter the 2nd plus, because regardless of what we add first, we'll still get the same answer.

- Pretty sure. I was doing a kata on Codewars.com that used this algorithm. I literally copied and pasted (and credited) the code from Wikipedia and then translated it to Javascript. It wasn't working at first until I realized the > needed to be a >=. You're right, for two plus signs it doesn't make a difference. But what about two subtraction signs? And division? As always, order matters in those cases. And also, two different operators on the same level, such as multiplication and division. HuffTheWeevil / talk / contribs 03:21, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

[I know you haven't edited in a couple of years, but maybe you'll see this even if you read Wikipedia while logged in.]
I've had it in mind for quite some time to write an essay in project space about announcements. I've seen entire sections consisting of sentences with the word "announced" in them, giving the impression that the subject's history consists not of events and actions at all but only of announcements that such events or actions were planned, leaving the reader to wonder whether any of them ever actually happened. I wanted to exhort people who add to an article, in November 2024, "In November 2024 it was announced that X would be joining the series as a regular character in the new season" to return after the new season begins and replace the text about the announcement with "In April 2025, X joined the series as a regular character" or, if X didn't join the series after all, to remove the sentence as probably irrelevant, unless some mention is to be made of why X's addition to the series didn't come to pass.
So one day recently I sat down to begin such an essay, but first checked the status of the obvious shortcut, WP:ANNOUNCED—and found that it leads to your user space essay, which is quite thorough, covering most of the ground that I had in mind.
