Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Hello HikerCharlie. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to ENEA AB, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:HikerCharlie. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=HikerCharlie|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}

- @HikerCharlie: I see what you tried to do, but it didn't work. You need to remove the "code" and "nowiki" tags from the beginning and end of the text you placed on your user page. Put another way, the line should start with a pair of left curly braces and end with a pair of right curly braces. Also, you should always indent your comments on a Talk page (here) with a colon (":"), and "sign" your insertions with four tildes ("~~~~"). I'm going to indent your comment (above) in a separate edit (because I normally *never* touch other users' comments). Feel free to revert/undo that change if you wish. - @HikerCharlie: Done. There are some things I don't know, though (e.g. should you use the "client=" or "employer=" parameter), but you can see what I did and take it from there. Please do not add or change content, as you did at ENEA AB, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. - HikerCharlie, It's the writing style. What you can do is make requests on the talk page instead of attempting to edit the article directly - that is the process for people in your position. Please revise the first sentence to reflect an up-to-date company description, changing "is a global information technology company with its headquarters in Kista, Sweden that provides real-time operating systems and consulting services." to "supplies software solutions to customers in the telecom and cybersecurity markets. Their cloud-native, 5G-ready products are focused on applications such as data management, video traffic, WiFi services, edge virtualiazation, traffic intelligence and IoT (Internet of Things) connectivity. Please correct errors in the company description
