Hi, HighInBC. I've just nominated File:Whole world - land and oceans 12000.jpg, which you originally uploaded, to be delisted and replaced with File:Blue Marble 2002.png, of higher resolution. The delist-and-replace nomination can be found at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/delist/Blue Marble. Thanks! — RAVENPVFF · talk · 03:44, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Years ago you expressed frustration at the daunting task of creating an LTA page for Asdisis. I started one today, at Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Asdisis. Feel free to add your thoughts to it. Binksternet (talk) 21:11, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I sent the following message to Nick, then realized you made the most recent block. You haven't posted in a couple of weeks so I'm going to go ahead and temporarily restore talk page access and will revoke it after the issue is settled.--S Philbrick(Talk) 18:32, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is an issue at OTRS and at SPI involving an editor you blocked. That editor may have some useful information regarding another SPI. I am not active in SPI so I'm consulting with another admin who is involved with the specific case. We talked through a few options, but the best option appears to be to allow the editor to have talk page access, so they can post the information on the talk page and it can be linked to the SPI. I think that makes a lot of sense, but I'm reaching out to you for two reasons. First, you placed the block, and I'm supposed to consult with you before and doing the block. The second is that while I don't intend to fully undo the block, just allow talk page access, I don't do a lot of blocking, so I'm not quite sure how to do that in one step. My plan is to undo the block and then immediately replace the block but not check the talk page access revoked button. I'm reaching out to you to see if you have any objections to this plan and whether you know how to simply restore talk page access in a single step. The relevant editor is user:Curse of Fenric. It's my intention to revoke the talk page access after the information has been posted, and perhaps give a little time in case some back and forth is needed.
- I will defer to your judgement on this matter. Thank you for the notification. HighInBC Need help? {{ping|HighInBC}} 14:09, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
