Just noting that if you change [[semipalmated plover]]s to [[Semipalmated plover|semipalmated plovers]] they look the same to the reader. However, sooner or later a bot will be along and change them back. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 04:42, 14 February 2017 (UTC)

So basically, I'm trying to fix an infobox on a former Canadian MP (mind, he was an MP from long ago), Charles Frederick Ferguson, but the template keeps showing "Member of Parliament" instead of the "Member of the Canadian Parliament" that I see on other articles on Canadian politicians. Could someone help me here? Zhangj1079 (talk) 14:17, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- I've updated the infobox. You were missing
|parliament=Canadian

So I was trying to edit Kelowna-Lake Country (provincial electoral district), that giant table is my mistake, I don't exactly know what went wrong, could someone help me and tell me what went wrong? Zhangj1079 (talk) 19:39, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
- I reverted the edit, the previous version is in history. But if someone could still add that back and fix it, your help would be very much appreciated!Zhangj1079 (talk) 19:52, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
- Well that is certainly an odd way to do a table. From the looks of it the past elections are contained in templates individually while the most current election is directly on the article. I can recreate the table for the most current election but the code you put in seems to be missing some info. Give me a second and I'll move the old one to a template for consistency sake and then I'll see what I can do about the 2017 election. --Majora (talk) 21:30, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
- I apologize, I was using visual editing, since I am not skilled in source editing. I realize that visual editing has its issues, but I couldn't exactly fix the mistake in source editing, I worried that I could have caused more damage than repair. Thanks so much! Zhangj1079 (talk) 21:37, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
- No need to apologize. So, just the way that article is setup I don't think it would be a good idea to have the table directly on the article. So I created the 2017 table here: Template:British Columbia provincial election, 2017/Kelowna-Lake Country. I used what was in your edit to fill in the information but the rest still needs to be filled in. Once that is done the table can just be placed on the article with the rest of them. If you need help with the table please let me know. --Majora (talk) 21:46, 26 March 2017 (UTC)

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Brittany B.
Just a friendly heads up on Brittany B.. I declined your speedy deletion request because being Grammy-nominated is a good faith claim of importance, which makes the page ineligible for speedy deletion. If you think the artist is not notable (which is a high standard), then feel free to use PROD or AfD.----Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:45, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
Vandalism
It wasn’t vandalism, I simply thought it unnecessary to have US rather than putting a dollar sign since the reference brings you to box office mojo. Kuriboh500 (talk) 23:29, 31 December 2017 (UTC)
- Judging from the warnings already on the page, I chose not to assume good faith. I had assumed that you knew full well what you were doing. With the revert, it wouldn't be terribly safe to assume the currency. Please remember that Wikipedia is not used solely by Americans. Zhangj1079 talk 00:06, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
