User talk:Heinrich L.~enwiki
==Welcome== Hello Heinrich L.~enwiki and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. If you want to learn more,
Wikipedia:Bootcamp teaches you the basics quickly,
Wikipedia:Tutorial is more in-depth, and
Wikipedia:Topical index is exhaustive.

Five Pillars of Wikipedia
Float around for awhile until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. There are also many great committees and groups that focus on particular jobs. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English and Wikipedia:Cleanup for sloppy articles. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy.
There are a few crucial points to keep in mind when editing. Be civil with users, strive to maintain a neutral point of view, verify your information, and show good etiquette like signing your comments with four tildes like this: ~~~~ If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page or ask the true experts at Wikipedia:Help desk. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 00:07, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

Decline reason: Sorry for the inconvenience but there is no way to undo this block. This account itself was not blocked directly. The IP address that you are using to edit from this account was though. It is believe to be an Open proxy. Open Proxies are not allowed to edit Wikipedia due to security reasons. See this page for more details.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 01:47, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
I hope this is the right way to get this thing sorted out. Neither do I have any idea, what all this means, nor do I know what happened to have my adress looked at as some zombie or whatever the blocking-reasons call it. My English may be sufficient to edit articles properly, but I don't even understand this stylish computer languange in German. I hope the Administrator who felt free to cut me off from editing can read this and finds the time to contact me. As I look at my userpage on the German Wikipedia more often, I hope he feels fit to leave a message there so that we can discuss the matter there. In English of course.

- Glad that you are able to edit again. As I said it was the IP address that your account was editing from, not your account itself. Sorry if it was hard to understand my explanation.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 18:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Heinrich L.. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Heinrich L.~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
