Edits to links
[edit]Hi. I've noticed that many of your edits are to avoid redirects, that is, change a link that goes to a redirect to a page to go directly to the page. In general, that's not necessary to do. We have a guideline about this at WP:NOTBROKEN. Your edits can stand, as it's no more useful to put them back than it was to make them, but no more such edits are needed. Thanks. --A D Monroe III (talk) 19:40, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
- Um, you are still doing this. You should read our Wikipedia guideline that covers this at WP:NOTBROKEN. I'm including a notable part of it here:
There is usually nothing wrong with linking to redirects to articles. Some editors are tempted, upon finding a link to a redirect page, to bypass the redirect and point the link directly at the target page. While there are a limited number of cases where this is beneficial, there is otherwise no good reason to pipe links solely to avoid redirects. Doing so is generally an unhelpful, time-wasting exercise that can actually be detrimental.
- Please stop changing links that go to redirects. You are doing other edits that are constructive; just concentrate on those. Thank you. --A D Monroe III (talk) 17:02, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
Edits to Taliban
[edit]Hey Heart of Destruction, I just wanted to let you know that in the future it would be a good idea to use unique edit summaries when doing a chain of edits as you did at Taliban. Thanks for your contributions! :) --bojo1498 talk 15:27, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!
[edit]Hello, Heart of Destruction. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
FYI, I added an {{anchor}} template to the Ducky Mallard section so all common names should now link to the section, so you don't have to change the links anymore when the section heading is renamed. Regards SoWhy 10:06, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
- The same applies to Jimmy Palmer. Please stop changing the links manually in all articles, a simple {{anchor}} template in the target article or a changed redirect can solve this more elegantly. I have done so now, all links to Jimmy Palmer should work again. Regards SOWHY 14:06, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

What's going on with Honest Trailers?
[edit]Hi Heart of Destruction, I remember that you used to post the titles of the new episodes before they went online, which makes me think that you are a Screen Junkies insider (or employee). What is the matter with the episode that was supposed to go online yesterday (Tuesday, 2 June)... why isn't it up, and why have the Screen Junkies not posted anything since 26 May? I hope everybody is healthy and everything is fine. --Edelseider (talk) 14:34, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for fixing my grave mistakes! I can't believe the stuff I do, sometimes; seems like I always need someone to overlook it. Hoping you can help me in time with a trials section on the Husel page. Great work, and keep it up.
