Template:Val/Print
Is Template:Val/Print still being used? I was trying to remove a few pages from Category:Pages with script errors and see that Val/Print is showing such an error. I updated {{val}} to use Module:Val in August 2015 but did not know about Val/Print. Johnuniq (talk) 05:11, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
@Johnuniq: My understanding of it is that currently any /print templates are simply ignored by the new PDF renderer, but this might be fixed/implemented in the future. It's been over a year since I last took a look at PDFs however, so the situation might be different today. An easy way to test this would be to create a basic template {{abcde}} and {{abcde/print}} (or is that case sensitive to /Print?) and see which of the two is being rendered.
That being said, tweaking {{val}} to incorporate the display/don't display in print logic directly rather than be bypassed by a /print version is likely a better solution. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 21:59, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks but I don't know what the print stuff is doing. There have been no reports of a problem so I won't investigate. I wanted to remove the script error from {{val/Print}} but a quick look does not provide a solution so I'll leave it. Johnuniq (talk) 03:06, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
Headbomb, just a reminder that your GA review of this article has been ongoing for over three and a half months; you haven't been back in quite a while. I hope you'll be able to devote time to it soon.
If you aren't going to be resuming work on it, we should put it back to find a new reviewer. Please let us know your plans. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:35, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
- Right, stuff happened and I forgot about this one. I'll take a look at it probably around the middle of next week. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 12:37, 2 July 2016 (UTC)

Cite arxiv errors
Thanks for the citation cleaning. As often happens when I tidy citations, there has been some collateral damage. See Category:CS1 errors: arXiv. I have cleaned up a few of them for you. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:09, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! I usually patrol the categories after I'm done cleaning stuff up to more easily catch the GIGO type of stuff I missed. There's also Category:Articles with missing Cite arXiv inputs, but that one tends to be somewhat harder to cleanup, since sometimes Citation bot will just refuse to run on the article. Proposed deletion of Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation
The article Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable journal. Not indexed in any selective databases, no independent sources. Does not meet WP:NJournals or WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Randykitty (talk) 10:05, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
Great Annihilator
Salut Headbomb- Saw your name in the Matter creation history and thought you might be a good one to look over some new material I copyedited today in the Great Annihilator article. I can't tell if it jibes with related info in the matter creation and pair production articles. And thanks for the typesetting rant, btw, though it just feeds my obsession with trying to improve how my browser and computer handle fonts! A noter: j'y ai remarqué une petite faute de frappe (displays > display), mais je n'avais pas le culot pour modifier votre page d'utilisateur! Merci par avance, Eric talk 14:32, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
