[edit]Hello, I'm Mdaniels5757. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to MGR Memorial— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. Mdaniels5757 (talk) 22:57, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not move pages without gaining consensus first. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:19, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
Indic script
[edit]- Please do not add any Indic script, to any of our India related articles, as you did at C. N. Annadurai, and several other pages, as this contravenes WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 20:54, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Jayalalithaa, you may be blocked from editing.
WP:NOINDICSCRIPT was explained to you above - to continue to add this is purely disruptive editing - Arjayay (talk) 20:59, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Jayalalithaa.
WP:NOINDICSCRIPT has been repeatedly explained to you, but you are continuing to ignore these warnings - please STOP before you are blocked - Arjayay (talk) 08:04, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at K. Kamaraj, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Arjayay (talk) 12:38, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
Bharat Ratna
[edit]Please STOP adding the Bharat Ratna as an honorific. as you have repeatedly done at K. Kamaraj; the Bharat Ratna is NOT an honrific - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 08:01, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
Honorifics
[edit]Please stop misapplying honorifics as you've done here, here and here. This parameter is for formal honorifics like "Duke" or "Sir" or "Dame", not for nicknames or formal forms of address like "His Majesty" or "Her Royal Highness" or "Beloved" or "Sri Sri" or for awards as you've added here, etc. I see you've been making lots of these sorts of problematic edits, which have required other editors to correct you. Please stop. If you continue, your editing privileges will be interrupted. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:24, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

is, despite having this explained to you. Your failure to communicate with other editors and instead just continuing to assert your erroneous worldview on our articles is unhelpful. I also notice stuff like this, where you moved the article MGR Memorial to the totally implausible article title Bharat Ratna Puratchi Thalaivar Dr.MGR and Puratchi Thalaivi Amma Selvi J Jayalalithaa Memorial. That is so nonsensical, it is indistinguishable from vandalism. We use common names for article titles, per WP:COMMONNAME. Nobody is ever going to search Wikipedia for "Bharat Ratna Puratchi Thalaivar Dr.MGR and Puratchi Thalaivi Amma Selvi J Jayalalithaa Memorial", complete with your grammatical mistakes. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions, but if this problematic behavior continues after the block expires, the next block will be for far longer. Competence is required at Wikipedia. If you don't understand our rules, ask other editors, but stop forcing your wrong changes into articles. Do not move any more articles without first discussing the changes on the article's talk page. {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

[edit]Haratunder (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Actually I changed the name of the memorial as our government rules kindly check it in our cabinet resolution of Tamil Nadu Haratunder (talk) 20:04, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Not an unblock request. I will add that the official government name of a memorial or object is not typically what is used to title articles per Wikipedia policy which has already been pointed out to you. If you want to request unblock, you will need to indicate that you understand this and address your other inappropriate edits. 331dot (talk) 20:50, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- This is not an unblock request, this is a response to the block notice, and it doesn't sufficiently explain why you have routinely failed to adhere to our guidelines on honorifics, why you somehow think the Bharat Ratna is an honorific, why you keep edit-warring with other experienced editors, why you keep moving articles without consensus, why you keep violating WP:COMMONNAME and why you have engaged in block evasion by editing while logged out here. And, your explanation doesn't even make much sense. "As our government rules"? Huh? Why don't you use a few sentences to explain your thought process in detail below, since I don't think anybody will be able to understand the rationale for your persistent problematic edits. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:40, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
- I would further add that government resolutions have no effect outside of the government passing the resolution. The resolutions of Tamil Nadu are not binding on Wikipedia, which is a private entity physically located in the United States. What matters here is Wikipedia policy. 331dot (talk) 20:54, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
