Thank you for your help - I've added third party references to my article as advised. Is there any more I can do? Thanks, Hamarriet (talk) 15:50, 4 December 2012 (UTC) —Preceding undated comment added 11:38, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello, You denied submission of my article on james m. gentile due to its lack of references. Thank you for finding that omission. I've now added references but don't know how to get the article reconsidered. Can you advise me? Many thanks, Ubud1951Ubud1951 (talk) 16:49, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
K-Bust article
Hi my article is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/K-Bust I'm sending you this message to kindly ask you to reconsider my article, according to this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:V#Non-English_sources, unfortunately I don't have english references by now, but the sources I am citing on this article are well known and comply with wikipedia requirements. Beside I've read myself english articles pointing to spanish sources, that's why I didn't think that it was a problem to have references in a language other than english.

Pima Air & Space station issue
I was making double entries with the aircraft that are on display outside with a list of all displays. This was making the page very long. After i get any updated list from Pima air and space i will add (in storage) or (on display) by each entry. Defamatory vandalism
Hi, when a user posts content that basically accuses a named person of pedophilia or related crimes without a source, you can pretty much jump directly to the level-4 series of warnings (i.e. {{uw-defamatory4im}}
or {{uw-biog4im}}
), and you should request revision deletion or even oversight for edits like that. Good luck! Reaper Eternal (talk) 20:37, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

- He died because of that injury from the race. I understand your viewpoint on this, but when it comes down to it, it was a result of the race (meaning he died because of it). This is only what I think though and what the original author was when they added the category, but I might be incorrect. For now though, let's just leave the category on the page. Thanks. Hello Hairr
In reference to the Iamus (computer) page, these links are elsewhere already in the external links, and were kind of redundant, and were excised because a warning of "improper sourcing" was listed at the top of the article. Voting rights in the United States
You reverted a correction I made to this article, and now the article is once again misleading. Your revision reads: "U.S. citizens who reside in Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, or the United States Virgin Islands are not allowed to vote in U.S. national and presidential elections as these U.S. territories belong to the United States but are not part of the United States (i.e., they are unincorporated territories)". This makes it sound like the fact that a territory is unincorporated has something to do with its citizens' ability to vote. This is false; citizens in all territories, whether incorporated or unincorporated, are not eligible to vote in US federal elections. It has nothing to do with the territory's status, but rather is a result of the territory not being a State, which are the only entities eligible to elect Representatives and Senators and, along with D.C., the President.
My correction, revising "unincorporated territory" to "State", was accurate and eliminated the incorrect and misleading text.
You can learnmore about incorporated vs. unincorporated territories at Territories of the United States. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.17.224.168 (talk) 18:20, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- I do understand your view on this and I do agree with your reasonings. I think we should compromise and change the text to "United States", as I don't think we should change it to "States" alone. I'll go ahead and change it to states right now, but if you feel it should be states and and not united states, please inform me. Sorry for any trouble caused. HairTalk 02:30, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, the revision is now more accurate. Still, I would like to reiterate that the sole factor determining representation in Congress is whether an entity is a State, not whether it is "part of the United States". Territories can be part of the United States (i.e. incorporated territories), yet they still do not have any voting representation in Congress, nor can they vote for President. For example, before Hawaii became a State, its US citizens could not vote in any federal elections; yet it was still "part of the United States", just as California, Nebraska, Michigan, etc. were before they became States, because it was an incorporated territory. As it happens, none of the territories mentioned in this paragraph of the article are incorporated, and therefore it is accurate to say they are not "part of the United States", but that is not why they are denied voting representation in Congress and the Electoral College. Rather, they have norepresentation because they are not States. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.17.224.168 (talk) 11:23, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:CD-logo.gif)
Thanks for uploading File:CD-logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:23, 5 November 2012 (UTC)
Article reviewed - Raptivity
Thanks for reviewing the article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Raptivity. I have made some changes, which I believe address the NPOV requirement. Will you please take a look at this? Thx RM (talk) 06:15, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- I have to say, it is really good. Reading over it a few times, I feel as if there seems to still be a problem. I went through the same category that Raptivity will be in and found this article: Learnstreet. In this article, it tells a brief description of what they do, gives a history of the company (founder, location, time, etc.) and what products they currently support (notice how the article says nothing more than "The website supports" cutting straight to the chase). Looking back at your article and comparing, it seems that your's has more "We do this; It's a very good company; Check it out." With the removal of some information, possibly replacing it or keeping it removed, that problem could be easily solved. Here's a helpful hint: Try to make it boring. If it sounds boring and informational, it's probably good and ready . Besides this, it's really good, so don't be discouraged. Hopefully this helped. HairTalk 15:40, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. I have made a few more changes to make it more informational:) Hopefully this works. RM (talk) 04:57, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello
Hello, Hair. I have recently posted an article about the company ELEKS but unfortunately it was deleted due to my not being attentive before creating it. Now that I have paid every attention to all the resources for beginner-writers, I understand why my article was deleted: I copied some information from the official website of the company and the sources I provided were not so reliable. My question is: if I get permission from the company representative to publish their text and find such sources as magazine or newspaper articles, will I have the chance to post my article on Wikipedia?
Thank you for your time!

This is my first contribution. Can you please check is this fine now. I save references part because I will add more materials when I get more and I add notes part with inline citation and gallery. - I don't think you are fully understanding what you are supposed to do. You add a reference to verify information rather than linking to an image through the ref tag. So if you have something in the article that should be cited so the information can be considered true, it needs to be cited. Thanks. HairTalk 23:54, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
Ok,I add just citation without link to picture but my question is for ex. for Metal Hammer source. I don´t have this print number .I write to owner of this label to find this because this is full page about this label in this UK edition. But, I don´t understand is it fine to leave this(for ex.) in reference or I need to delete all reference which is not now in context. Also, there is more resource for this label in various print magazine and newspaper but I don´t have any citation from this resource. So,do I need to put all in reference part or not ? Thank you --Gisnar 08:23, 11 November 2012 (UTC) In the meantime I deleted all other reference which is not part of context. Do I need to do something more ? Articles for creation/Earth Journalism Network
Hi Hair:
This is in reference to your rejection of an article I am creating for the Earth Journalism Network. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Earth_Journalism_Network You reassert, “This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.” I am a long time journalist and thus qualified to write articles about journalism. How does it read as an advertisement? I cannot improve on it. I deleted one graf that referenced the Society of Environmental Journalists as their partner, if that is the issue. I do include a range of independent, reliable, published sources, none of which are mine and which include the New York Times, and the Columbia Journalism Review. I cite 10 news stories, one journal, and two books. These links describe EJN’s notability, and the rich variety of sources should cement notability. EJN is worthy of inclusion but if continually rejected I’ll post this on journalism listserves and ask for support. This continual rejection makes this an issue worthy of a news story so that readers can know how Wikipedia works, as I have had to do before. Under “International Journalism Organizations,” you include, “The Alfred Friendly Foundation,” “International Federation of Agriculture Journalists,” and “The International Motor Press Foundation.” Organizations worthy of inclusion but tell me why the Earth Journalism Network is less worthy. Kindly re-review. There is no link to re-submit. Thank you. Hochungra (talk) 14:11, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Your review of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sid Griffin (2)
You declined Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sid Griffin (2) because there supposedly was another version also awaitig review: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sid Griffin. That other version actually isn't awaiting review and has been stale for a few months. I believe the duplication is a result of the submitter abandoning the old draft and creating a new one, which, while unnecesarily complicated, isn't prohibited nor a valid decline reason, for all I can tell. I'll have a look at the new draft and will review it, but please don't use this declie rationale in the future when the other draft isn't awaiting review. Assessment: United States: AR-importance=Mid (assisted))
I noticed that you had made serveral edits related to Arkansas National Guard units that you labled as Assessment: United States: AR-importance=Mid (assisted)). It appears at at least in the case of 206th Field Artillery Regiment (United States), the result was a down grading of the article from Class B to Start Class. Was that you intent? if so what were the issues that contributed to this downgrade? Aleutian06 (talk) 14:50, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- I dug a little deeper and I think the issue is that your edit removed the WPMILHIST template and thus it's assessment. I have used the Military history WikiProject for assessments on all of my Arkansas related military articles because WikiProject Arkansas is virtually inactive. Aleutian06 (talk) 15:06, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't mean to remove the WPMILHIST template. The script I'm using must've made a mistake when editing, so that wasn't my intention. I was just trying to give the importance. Hi Hair, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert any other type of edit - such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with - can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, use a manual edit summary instead of using the rollback tool. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. BPMN event types
Hi, I cannot edit your svg image of the BPMN event types, so I ask you to change it yourself, if possible. The borders of the event types must(!) differ from each other as you can see in the original image by Bhanks. The colors don't really matter in BPMN, it's the borders that matter (double line for intermediate event, thick line for end event). Thanks for changing it.
