Edit summary

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

Regardless of any masculine/feminine spelling issues, the correct spelling of the name of the team is above. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. Thanks Sasaki 06:25, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

Recent wikilinking on Webby Awards and Bert is evil

Hi! I noticed you added some wikilinks on articles on my watchlist. Normally, I only wikilink key concepts or things that people are likely not to know about. But I see you're linking things like "rally" and "news". Could you tell me more about your approach? Thanks, William Pietri 17:36, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Certainly. In the last few years (though it seems to have become more common since late 2005) wikipedia articles tend to have words/phrases wikilinked any time there is an already existing page for the entry. I'm just trying to do my part when I see a phrase that I know there is an wikipage for, and provide the link in order to save readers the extra step of having to copy/paste instead of a simple click. While some of it I don't personally agree with (having a wikilink for the first mention of every single year, date, etc, for instance) I realize my opinion on the matter is in the minority--so I won't try to change things to have fewer wikilinks. WWE Alumni

Please look up the defintion of alumni, it means FORMER. People still in WWE are not WWE alumni, thank you for making me waste time having to remove them from current WWE wrestles. TJ Spyke 05:47, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Wait... does that mean that every time Marty Jannetty gets fired, we have to add "alumni" and then remove it when he gets hired back on a month or two later? That seems awfully inefficient. Hack-Man 05:52, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes that is what it means. People still employed by WWE are not almuni, so they shouldn't be in that category. TJ Spyke 05:54, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about that. If you're chaning them back, be careful not to just click "revert" on all of them, as I made other mods at the same time (adding content, links, etc). I'll revert the ones I find. Hack-Man 05:56, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm not reverting, just going on them and deleting the WWE alumni one. You can just click on "My Contributions" to see articles you've edited. TJ Spyke 05:58, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

I noticed you removed "WWE Alumni" for Tully Blanchard. Is he still working for them? Hack-Man 05:59, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

That was a mistake on my part. I'll put it back. TJ Spyke 06:03, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

May not want to do that.

Vandalism warnings

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Brooke Hogan, you will be blocked from editing.

-- Um... careful who you cite for vandalism, there, Skippy. If you look again, you'll notice I was the one removing the vandalism on the Nick Hogan page, and merely added a relevnt category yo the Brooke Hogan page. Also, you should learn to "sign" your name when adding text to a user's talk page. Hack-Man 01:21, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

From the Editor

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday.

This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement.

That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.
