Remove content from UVGI Manufacturer

[edit]

I want to know about why you remove my content from the UVGI Manufacturer country page. We are a manufacturer if UVGI System which is able to clean air by Covid-19 viruses. Please add this again. Priyanand singh (talk) 10:08, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. Wikipedia isn't the place to promote your company - it is outlined here. Furthermore, even if it wasn't advertising, we cannot include your company in the article unless it already has one. Please have a look here to get started as well as our notability guideline for companies. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 17:55, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit

[edit]

The content about Mohammad's wives was removed because it is not factual or historically accurate. Their ages and date of births as reported were reported by a Persian writer who lived 200 years after the death of Mohammad. Not all Muslim scholars accept his accounts and some Muslims sects totally reject his accounts. To include the dated as fact is an error. 2601:199:680:700:0:0:0:BD84 (talk) 21:25, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your explanation. Since you haven't been properly welcomed, I've gone ahead and left one on your talk page so you can get the help you need. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:04, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am added a link on side by side (vehicle) page that helpful for Wikipedia readers and I don't no why this is removed. In fact it is trusted information for readers. Princewikirajput (talk) 07:21, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Princewikirajput: Hello. The link you added is a blog in which you are its sole contributor. Our external links guideline advises against the use of blogs as an external link. Additionally, in line with our conflict of interest policy, you are strongly discouraged from adding your own blog to Wikipedia articles. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 11:59, 28 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What is wrong with my edit? [29] Why do I need reliable sources to link to a dismabiguation page? The redirect 3310 points to the this cellphone. The disambiguation page is located at 3310 (disambiguation). -- 64.229.88.43 (talk) 03:46, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, sorry about that, just noticed the first part of the template, and I mistook that for something else - I've restored it for you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:58, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Giorgio Grassi architect

[edit]

I have removed the portrait because it does not represent the person being talked about. The man in the photograph IS NOT the architect Giorgio Grassi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.90.168.87 (talk) 12:43, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Uzbekistani" listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has identified a potential problem with the redirect Uzbekistani and has thus listed it for discussion. This discussion will occur at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 September 11#Uzbekistani until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Searching for reliable source

[edit]

I tried to remove the template of the article (Sarah Elago) because I couldn't find reliable source for the subject's middle name.```` 112.200.5.27 (talk) 05:10, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Then you may need to raise this on the article's talk page as it would require other significant changes to the article - simply removing the template wouldn't be enough. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 05:14, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can you help learn the rules

[edit]

Hi HMS, what are the rules here as opposed to the talk pages non-forum thing Meatballspino (talk) 18:38, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming you're referring to this. Our user talk page guidelines specify that user talk pages are meant for discussions about contributing to Wikipedia. If what you're asking is about what someone else is doing right now, it should be about what they're doing here on Wikipedia and how you can help out. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 14:56, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Weaver (footballer)

[edit]

I am Adam Brandy. I work with Samantha Weaver. This is her father. She wants to be included on his page. She is on IMDb if you wish to verify. 47.6.107.143 (talk) 03:40, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. It is up to you to provide sources; head on over to WP:REFBEGIN for help on citing a website. Also, you'll likely need more than just IMDB as a source; see WP:RS. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:48, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:27, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Underground

[edit]

Hi, I noticed you changed my edit Which I completely understand since the underground is a very new country which is only a few days old and it’s recognized by no actual countries but I am slowly trying to spread around us about the new country And the news with this island also, my source is actually myself as I am the King of The Underground Kinglink6767 real (talk) 04:14, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but if your country isn't notable yet then it does not belong on Wikipedia. We only report on things that are already notable - please see this guideline. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 14:44, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's a good start, but I expect there to be news articles about the return (YouTube videos are sometimes acceptable, but it isn't enough on its own); also, you might want to move it to the bottom of the history section. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:45, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Two Questions

[edit]

I have two questions.1:when I edited HMS Victory I changed "moorning" to "morning" I may be wrong but I thought it was a spelling mistake.2: where is the sandbox mode so I can learn how to edit? Leicestertowncentr (talk) 03:44, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Firstly, a mooring is the act of, for lack of a better word, parking a ship; the Wiktionary entry provides some detail of its origins. You can find the sandbox here. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:49, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
