Speedy deletion nomination of How It Should Have Ended
[edit]A tag has been placed on How It Should Have Ended, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Hello your article "How It Should Have Ended" was deleted by user User:NawlinWiki using the criteria A7: No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion and G11: Unambiguous advertising or promotion. TeapotgeorgeTalk 21:32, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- The first sentence, describing HISHE as an "online phenomenon", was promotional. More importantly, there was no indication anywhere in the article that the website has been recognized as notable (see WP:WEB) by multiple independent sources (see WP:V). NawlinWiki (talk) 00:22, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Removing Speedy at How It Should Have Ended
[edit]Hi there HISHEfan! I saw that you added a {{hangon}} tag to a page which you created, How It Should Have Ended. This is good, but in the process you removed the tag requesting deletion under CSD G11. Even though there is a hangon on the page, the deletion template should remain there. But don't worry, this doesn't mean that the page is going to get deleted. Make sure you edit the talk page of the page nominated for deletion, located at Talk:How It Should Have Ended, administrators will look at your reason why the page should remain before they decide what to do. Thanks - SDPatrolBot (talk) 19:11, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Nintendo task force membership update
[edit]Hello,
It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we try to do every 3-4 months (though it's been actually 6 months since the last one) to keep our membership up-to-date.
All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. After 1 month, on 1 April 2010, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Back to the Future is an upcoming video game produced by TellTale games and will be focused around Marty McFly. THe game will have the likenesses of Christopher Lloyd and Micheal Fox. Christopher Lloyd was able to voice his role, but Micheal J. Fox couldn't reprise his role. (I have to stop here. I'll come back and finish tomorrow (12/21/10))
