Wiliam Gott
[edit]hi , you updated the William Gott page yesterday, but unfortunately made a mistake - the book "War without hate' referred to is not the one written by Westphal, but by Colin Smith - you can link to it from the article Best Regards

Hi
[edit]안녕하세요. 칼태크 & 스탠포드에서 오신 당신을 위키프로잭트 코리아에 초대합니다. WP:KOREA. (Wikimachine 18:13, 21 May 2007 (UTC))
Genda Article
[edit]Many of the revisions to the Minoru Genda article make little or no sense, not to mention the bias introduced. As someone claiming to 'teach' at U of Arizona and having 'attended' Stanford and Cal Tech and UC San Diego (!) it seems a bit queer. Markm62 (talk) 23:25, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

First off, I apologize for the spam. You are receiving this message because you have indicated that you are in Southern California or interested in Southern California topics (either via category or WikiProject).
I would like to invite you to the Los Angeles edition of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art, a photography scavenger hunt to be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, February 28, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. All photos are intended for use in Wikipedia articles or on Wikimedia Commons. There will be a prize available for the person who gets the most photos on the list.
If you don't like art, why not come just to meet your fellow Wikipedians. Apparently, we haven't had a meetup in this area since June 2006!
If you are interested in attending, please add your name to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art#Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Please make a note if you are traveling to the area (train or plane) and need transportation, which can probably be arranged via carpool, but we need time to coordinate. Lodging is as of right now out of scope, but we could discuss that if enough people are interested.
Thank you and I hope to see you there! howcheng {chat} 23:57, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
You wrote, albeit a long time ago: "Due to miscommunications, the replica was cut up in the scenes where the completed Arrows were being destroyed, forcing CBC to compensate Jackson." Where did this information come from? I was there on the scene and have a very different impression in that the model was built around Jackson's nose and landing gear sections and with the rush to get it finished, no consideration was given to building up modular sections so when the production ended and the CBC set crew had to return the complete model to Jackson, they were forced to cut it into sections that wold fit the flat-bed trucks they were using. FWiW, a group of components from the unfinished Saunders airliner project served as the cut up Arrows for the destruction sequence, not the Jackson model. Bzuk (talk) 13:55, 25 September 2010 (UTC).

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
