Greetings, my name is Oleg Kagan (around the web, I'm also Oleg K. or lifeinoleg). I'm a librarian for the County of Los Angeles Public Library currently working at the Topanga Library.

These days, I am adding bits and pieces to Sherwood Anderson-related articles. Eventually, I'll probably be making major additions to Sherwood Anderson himself (at least digitally).

After attending Meetup at the Reagan Presidential Library on November 19, 2011, I have created and am working on Washington Summit (1987). Though I haven't done a whole lot of work on it since. I'll team up, if someone wants to take a crack at GA with that article. Shouldn't be too difficult.

I've also decided to try and make the stub of librarian Lawrence Clark Powell into a featured article. But one may have to engrave that on my tombstone. I make no promises.

My expertise lies in poetry, literature, and information science, though my interests are much broader. Over time, I suspect I'll be editing articles that reflect my varied and constantly expanding fascinations. If you arrive at this page, and need a section or two for an article related to my fields of interest and/or expertise, feel free to ask and I'll try to help.

Thanks for organizing the Wikipedia Loves Libraries event in West Hollywood. I am from Seattle but am helping to organize the WLL event in Portland. I also edit articles about HIV and am glad to see that you list that as a focus.
