User talk:H. V. Shekhawat
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, H. V. Shekhawat, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited was User:H. V. Shekhawat/sandbox, which appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! GPL93 (talk) 17:22, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:H. V. Shekhawat
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:H. V. Shekhawat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Shekhawat. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. GPL93 (talk) 18:17, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because information provided in the page is true and whatever written in page is for the information of public at large. H V Shekhawat is popular advocate whose cases has been cited in Famous news papers of which link is provided in the page itself. It's authenticity can be checked. Public will get information about housing society cases which is necessary to be in public. Please don't delete the page. H. V. Shekhawat (talk) 18:21, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
- Several things. As I warned above, you should not be writing about yourself and should definitely not be writing promotionally. Secondly, Wikipedia is not a public information service, it is an encyclopedia of notable subjects that pass our notability guideline. Thirdly, you should not be using multiple accounts which you clearly have been doing as demonstrated by User:Khimmat/sandbox. GPL93 (talk) 18:27, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
It was due to some mistake in operating the system. But as far as your terms are concerned then the page is not violating any rules. You can read this about H V Shekhawat.... https://mumbaimirror.indiatimes.com/mumbai/other/hsg-society-ordered-to-pay-woman-rs-1-5-lakh-for-denying-membership/articleshow/73235891.cms
- Actually as far as Wikipedia's terms are concerned it violated WP:NOTWEBHOST, WP:NOTPROMO, WP:AUTOBIO and WP:RESUME at least. You have also violated our rules on using multiple accounts which is a highly blockable offense. Also coverage has to be in-depth, so focusing on him and not a case. Per previous warnings, please refrain from writing about yourself. Best, GPL93 (talk) 18:42, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Ok. I got your point. I will write about the cases and not about him. See if you can restore the page. Or you can guide me if I have to create fresh page about the case. Please guide. I really wants to contribute. Thanks
- I think it's best you steer clear about writing about H. V. Shekhawat (including his cases) entirely. You clearly have a conflict of interest. Best, GPL93 (talk) 18:51, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
