picture at 1959 Tibetan Uprising

[edit]

Hello. The picture you added [1] to the infobox at 1959 Tibetan uprising did not display properly because it was missing brackets. I tweaked the format so that it now shows and added a caption [2]. Feel free to tweak it further if you see a need. Regards.--Wikimedes (talk) 20:22, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Category:Sexual abuse of women in the catholic church has been nominated for renaming. A discussion is taking place to decide whether this proposal complies with the categorization guidelines. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the categories for discussion page. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 12:25, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your application of this category, please use caution especially with WP:BLPCRIME in mind. If there are allegations with no conviction or only acquittals then it is wholly improper to tag an article, especially a person's biography, with the allegation of abuse. Thanks. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did at Marie-Dominique Philippe, you may be blocked from editing. Elizium23 (talk) 12:37, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't speak english. Langladure (talk) 12:39, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In France, we can modify the categories directly. I didn't know it was impossible in English. I let you do it. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I apologize. Langladure (talk) 12:45, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Catherine Cadière. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Elizium23 (talk) 13:38, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Your deletion of an illustration on Catherine Cadière's page seems abusive to me. There is nothing pornographic about this period image. It is used in all Wikipedia pages around the world. This is a public domain work of art. Best regards Langladure (talk) 13:45, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if you ignore my warning and continue your tendentious categorizing, I will take you to WP:ANI right away, because the damage you cause is widespread and you have no consensus, and you ignore warnings. Elizium23 (talk) 09:17, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I replied to you on your talk page but you are deleting those replies as you go along. difficult to exchange under these conditions and to understand each otherLangladure (talk) 09:33, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It would be best if you do not repost my comments to my own talk page and make them appear to be like I posted them. I do not enjoy your DeepFakes and that's the primary reason I'm removing your comments. (Also this does not pertain to my behavior but yours.) Elizium23 (talk) 09:34, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This is standard practice on the French Wikipedia. But okay, since that's disconcerting to you, I won't do it again. However, please try to be less aggressive with me. Your deletions to the categorization string "Category:Sexual affairs in the Evangelical Church" seem excessive to me? Langladure (talk) 09:44, 17 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sophie Binet moved to draftspace

[edit]

Unfortunately, an article you recently created Sophie Binet, is not ready as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage with citations from reliable and independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. I've moved your article to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's WP:GNG guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I see you’ve created a category called “Opposition to Daniel Ortoga” but I think you intended to refer to Daniel Ortega. If you could please correct the category and all the pages tagged, I would appreciate it. Thank you. Innisfree987 (talk) 19:52, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, yes I was wrong. I corrected the error. Thank you very much for this report. Cordially. Guallendra (talk) 20:24, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Ukrainians in France indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. plicit 14:59, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
