I stepped in for Harrias, who is on holidays YellowMonkey (vote in the Southern Stars and White Ferns supermodel photo poll) 03:49, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Haussler nationality
He is listed as Aussie at the team site and the UCI site, which is as much reference for nationality as anyone else has. Given that, and the refs aleady at the top of the squad list on Cervelo Test Team, I don't think any extra ref is needed. Kevin McE (talk) 20:02, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

1985–86 Calgary Flames season GA nomination
Hi, thanks for the review! I believe I have addressed your concerns. Cheers, Resolute 02:09, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'll get to it in the
morningevening. Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 05:16, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi Nosleep , after your whine on Wikipedia talk:Good article nominations#Backlog = cap? I was going to review your article. However, as the review stated on 27th August, I'm not going to bother (see Talk:2010 Giro d'Italia/GA1). Pyrotec (talk) 20:58, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- OH! I never saw that (the reviewer never left anything on WP:GAN stating intent to review). Hopefully a full review will be forthcoming. Nosleep (Talk · Contribs) 00:13, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Re:Page Moves
Not really sure how this works, but thank you for the heads up about the Move vs Cut and Paste. I didn't know! Sorry :) Jhubsch (talk) 15:20, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
- It's quite all right, the page history can easily be moved by an admin. It's important to move the page history for attribution/GFDL purposes. Or something. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 21:36, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Hi... I have posted a question at Talk:Sako Chivitchian/GA1 following the recent post from Paralympiakos. I would appreciate your thoughts and also guidance on whether I would need to complete the changes within 3 days? Thanks. EdChem (talk) 18:03, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- As long as progress is being made, there's no reason to dogmatically enforce a deadline. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 19:54, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of 2009 Astana season
The article 2009 Astana season you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:2009 Astana season for things which need to be addressed. Jezhotwells (talk) 23:03, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for the quick review. I will address any concerns you may have within the next day or two. Got a lot on my plate right now. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 19:55, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Stybar
Yeah, you're quite correct?: i read the opening sentence of the CN article "After months of speculation, cyclo-cross world champion Zdenek Stybar has joined the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step squad", and made the mistake of assuming that a journalist was writing accurately. I should, of course, have paid attention to what followed two sentences later: "Stybar will officially join Quick Step on March 1". Good spot. Kevin McE (talk) 16:37, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. Easy fix, anyway. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 03:19, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
Lance
He surprised me too. Thanks for following up with the infobox, team articles etc (i'm currently editing at a reduced speed for reasons i won't bore you with). I'm also surprised his article hasn't seen more edits today. I guess it goes to show what a high proportion of edits to many such articles are from IP or unconfirmed users. (Hmm... as i call myself a statistician, i'm going to have to see if there are any proper Wikipedia:Statistics on that now...) Qwfp (talk) 20:33, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Re: Many thanks
No problem; it gives you a benchmark to keep the prose up-to-date... ;) In all seriousness however, I've been tempted to do some prose for the articles but I would rather leave to the WP:Cycling experts (hint, hint). Which reminds me that I haven't actually signed up to the project. Cs-wolves(talk) 21:22, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- Give the prose a shot! Or better yet, do it on some of the 2010 articles (which I got WAY too far behind on, trying not to do that again this year). It's a wiki world! If I think I can do better, I will. If you think you can do better than my "better," you will. That's how we operate. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 04:47, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- I just do not want to take on too much work that I, like you last year (no digging, honest!), would fall behind on. I still have some 2010
motorauto racing articles to write some prose on; I have the portal work to fill in and then other assorted announcements. I may just get round to the cycling articles when I have some time...just for you! ;) Cs-wolves(talk) 13:01, 20 February 2011 (UTC) - Just a quick note, Cycling News has just repeated the first stage team result on the overall results from the Tour du Haut Var page. As Voeckler won with a 9 hour time, the top three riders would make up a 27 hour such and such overall time. As such, this is represented here. Just thought I'd flag it up. ;) Cs-wolves(talk) 14:05, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Hell, I've been using a template on all of the World Tour races so far. All began on a sleep-deprived January on the TDU page! Some things just seem to stick! ;) Cs-wolves(talk) 14:07, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
Sako Chivitchian
Hey. Just noting that if you do feel too busy to complete the review, I can tweak the template and get another one started. Since there's a backlog drive going on it would probably be picked up very quickly. I'll leave it up to you. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:33, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
- Please do. My own editing is time sensitive, and for, oh, about the next seven and a half months, stands to get only more time-consuming as well. God, that sounds selfish. I wish now I hadn't forgotten about the review back when I did have time for it. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 05:26, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Cycling
Hey, great work on the pages. But can you please name the references somehow, either [link text] or with citeref? Kante4 (talk) 20:48, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes yes, I always planned to convert the bare references. You are talking about 2011 Tirreno–Adriatico, right? The bare links was just for convenience as I was writing the prose. They'll be convereted. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 20:56, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yep, talking about that article, if you convert them it´s all ok. ;) Kante4 (talk) 20:57, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Your GA nomination of 2011 Tirreno–Adriatico
The article 2011 Tirreno–Adriatico you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:2011 Tirreno–Adriatico for eventual comments about the article. Well done! Jezhotwells (talk) 01:29, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Alex!
Many thanks for amending my errors over the Lloyd dismissal. Schoolboy error, of course! Ha! Cs-wolves(talk) 15:45, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- You're welcome. 'tweren't nothin' . Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 16:02, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- Well, at least I've got someone to scrutinise any errors that I make...well, if you want that role of course? :) Cs-wolves(talk) 16:05, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
- I was just checking to see if the Lloyd
shitcanningrelease had been edited in. I had just noticed the headline on Cycling News a few minutes prior. Particularly with the team season pages, they're kind of my babies, so I do have a way I've done certain things with them before (not that "my" way is the only way or anything, but I naturally think it's a good one). Take for example 2007 Astana season (what a mess that was) and all the riders who for one reason or another left the team midseason that year. I think the way it's represented works. So that's why I made the edit. Not to fix any "errors" Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 16:17, 15 April 2011 (UTC)- Yeah, fair enough. I think the way it is done now (footnotes, rather than in with refs like the Astana '07 page) is more suitable, so "your babies" are perfect the way they are. :) Cs-wolves(talk) 16:21, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I really have to get used to userface skin; new changes to talk page is tiny compared to my previous skin...Enough about that; apologies for the delayed response. Well, I was watching the stage and what I do is have a notepad page open so I can type down the top ten (or as many as I can get in one go) live, so when Cunego was first over, I could put that in the jersey progress table and the Lampre page. Before the result screen came up, I had Cunego, Evans, Vino and Costa typed up and just put 5-10 in the page rather quickly...then did the top tens after GC came up! ;) You can "scoop" me on certain days next month; few prior commitments which will rule out Giro watching for me on a couple of days...and possibly a day of Tour of California but not too sure about that; so your ever-delightful input will be required. ;) Cs-wolves(talk) 16:34, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
- Indeed, the Giro will be my first live watching of the year (I was able to see Tirreno-Adriatico, most of Pais Vasco, the last couple hours of Milan-Sanremo and Liege, and a soupcon of Paris-Nice, but only on tape delay). I'm sure I'll be at work when the Tour of Cali is ongoing, but I'm pretty much in the same boat as Zomegnan when it comes to that race. (A reporter asked him last year after the Giro ended what he thought of the Tour of Cali, and his response was "I didn't watch the Tour of California. I was busy.") Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 03:36, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
- As long as the job pays well, then you can be quids in either way. Cs-wolves(talk) 16:32, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
The GC came up on the screen via le Gazzetta's own live stream. Hell, the commentary is in Italian but it is effective! Cs-wolves(talk) 15:19, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
No need to do that...I had had the same edit lined up but my screen must have went back a page to cause the e.c., for which I apologise for. As to the updates after the live-ness, I'd much rather other people, such as yourself, do it, but if after a certain time has elapsed after the stage, I'd just step in. I just do not wish to cause stress, that is all. Cs-wolves(talk) 15:52, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- If by 'a certain time,' you mean five seconds after the results are on the web. Don't misunderstand, you're not doing anything wrong, it just frustrates me to edit conflict. Since we've well established that you're faster, I should just mind my own business (prose writing). And yes, I'm kind of in a shitty mood for unrelated reasons. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 15:57, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- No, no...I mean by the time the stage results are posted on the screen. The only time I look at the actual page of results is if I cannot get all ten in the time it is on screen. If I had the right screen page when I had pressed Enter, I don't think there would have been an edit conflict. If I had posted the exact same page as you, then it would have just came up with the first edit and reducing the need for the system to put out an edit conflict! I don't establish it to be a race, and I don't want it to be. I've been trying to get into the prose writing for the stages now that I can put more time into Wiki now that the other commitments out of the way, and I just picked the ToC to delve into, being a minor race than the Giro. I would say cheer up soon, but that may be slightly cheeky! But if you need someone to let off steam to, I'm all ears. Cs-wolves(talk) 16:10, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Think I'm gonna class this as my section to you, until archiving. ;) Erm...got a question for you. I noticed on the American championship results pages from CN, that the riders were competing for their respective teams...now, I have noted the British championships on last year's Sky article, but do we include or exclude the others? I am at the stage where I...Do. Not. Know. Cs-wolves(talk) 17:47, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
- Nothin' wrong with a new section. Anyway, it's any races in which the trade team participated. Any time any rider was registered under that team. Many races, for example, in the Bay Classic Series are won by riders on major teams, but since they're registered under local Australian teams, they don't count. Conversely, when Levi Leipheimer won the Sea Otter Classic in 2009, it counted on Astana's page, even though he and Chris Horner were the only two Astana riders in the event, because they were registered as Astana. Leipheimer's win (and, for that matter, Lance Armstrong's second place) at the Tour of the Gila later that same year didn't count (though it did bear a passing mention in prose) for that team since the three of them were registered as Mellow Johnny's and not Astana. Does this make it clearer? Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 04:38, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hell of a lot clearer; which leaves me one final question. These victories would be classed under one-day victories in the top box, or not touched at all? Cs-wolves(talk) 08:50, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- What do you think? The pages may be my "babies," but that doesn't mean mine is the only opinion over them. That box is of really limited usefulness anyway (to take HTC as an example, the box makes Scheldeprijs and Milan – San Remo the same sort of race, which they most certainly are not). I did count David Millar's win in the Chrono des Nations in the box there for Garmin last year, but that's taking "one day race" to its strictest literal definition. It was Matt Busche and Bizzy D, right? 'Shack and Garmin? I dunno. Do what you think is right. If they were registered under their trade teams they should be mentioned somehow. I know next to nothing when it comes to national championships, though – is this common practice? I know that in the past, to take the Norwegian championships for example, Gabriel Rasch would ride to help Thor Hushovd, because they were trade teammates, but were they actually both registered as Crédit Agricole or Cervélo TestTeam? I honestly don't know. I don't really have an answer I guess. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 09:36, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- I just wanted to ask you first because you have done the majority of the work for several years on those pages, and you're a hell of a lot more experienced when it comes to those articles in question. I'm a relative newbie to them compared to you. Onto the matter itself, I am tempted to say yes, so I might have to see if I can find documents with the race's results by years on them. It might be a dead one to find each year, but I'll give it a go. Yep, it was Zabriskie and Busche that won over Memorial Day, but I will clarify if they did in fact ride with their respective teams. Cs-wolves(talk) 10:59, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- Upon further reflection, i.e. waking up fully...I've decided against adding them. Just looking into it in far too minute detail...I did look at the Australian results and the results had Meyer and Bobridge's club teams in the results, but in the press releases, it had Garmin-Cervélo. So yeah, abandoning that. Cs-wolves(talk) 14:44, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Craig Lewis (cyclist)
Thanks for adding the story so quick. I read it just an hour or so ago and hadn't got round to putting anything together for it. SeveroTC 12:45, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
- Vaughters tweeted after Monday's tragedy something like "it makes me glad you're still with us, Craig" and I had no idea what he was talking about. To read about it in that article today was stunning. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 12:48, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Re:Bad news in threes
Cycling is having a rough month, losing two top riders and all the allegations of Tyler Hamilton...probably one of the worst months for a very long time. You can only imagine how Inxtausti feels after seeing what happened to his team-mate; will understandably take a lot to get over...but such a tragic way to leave us. Thanks for picking up the team page that I had missed. Cs-wolves(talk) 13:45, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
Can I ask why you waited over a week to move this article back? Without further discussing it on the talk page where you raised the question, and I justified my move? Now we have to move Saxo Bank-SunGard --> Saxo Bank (cycling team), Liquigas-Cannondale to Liquigas (cycling team), Ag2r-La Mondiale --> Ag2r (cycling team), Lampre-ISD --> Lampre (cycling team), and Farnese Vini-Neri Sottoli --> Farnese Vini (cycling team), if we should follow the same logic. At least that how my media coverage use the team names;) Best regards, lil2mas (talk) 19:32, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- Well, for starters, my computer had 15 viruses on it and was in the repair shop for the last five days. So I didn't wait a week at all. And furthermore, this is precisely the question I asked that no one seemed to notice (I can use underline too~!) when I first raised the question on WT:CYC. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 19:45, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- How could I know you didn't have a computer? Even though YOU didn't wait a week, I did! If the article had been moved back instantly, I wouldn't have react at all, since Kevin made me aware that there was already a question raised on WT:CYC. But when I then give my "statement", and suddenly nobody seems to care anymore. Don't you then understand why I react when you move it back over a week later, without even replying to my "statement"? lil2mas (talk) 21:03, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- I presented my opinion. Did it need to be a direct reply to you? I don't see why. I presented my argument, you presented yours. If the project means to come to any kind of consensus, that can (and should) still happen. I figured it was going to, which is why I didn't instantly move it back. I'll be sure to do that next time. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 01:45, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

- Also, the sponsor is spelled with periods - it's C.I.P.I., not CIPI. Check any photo of the team's jersey and you'll see this (here's a good one...and do notice the caption). Also, Kevin agreed with me, and no one seemed to agree with you. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 19:45, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- When it comes to the periods, I just used the same as was done before with LPR (cycling team)! ;o) lil2mas (talk) 21:03, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- Also, not directly related, when you move pages, could you please update the lead and any infoboxes (and associated pages, like the season, such as in the case of Saxo Bank)? For months last year, our article on Colnago-CSF Inox began with the words "CSF Group-Navigare is..." I think it was you who moved that one? I didn't change it because I wasn't entirely convinced the two teams were the same franchise. But certainly, if it pisses you off so much, just move it back. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 19:45, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- As you might remember I made the {{Ct}}-template a while ago, and the only thing needed for it to work is to change the team article name (...not the actual text in it). But I will try to improve myself on editing the actual article when I move it. But that is what makes Wikipedia so good, that other editors will see those mistakes, and correct them. =) When it comes to related articles, they must be changed by the authors who knows of them. You can't expect a user to know all related articles, don't you agree? lil2mas (talk) 21:03, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
But let's not try to make this a personal thing, alright? Just give me some feedback on WT:CYC, and I'm good;) Best regards, lil2mas (talk) 21:03, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- For the record; I'm perfectly fine with the article name the way it is now; "Androni Giocattoli". But I just want consistency, and that's why I moved it in the first place... See my reply on WT:CYC;) lil2mas (talk) 21:08, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- Consistency, frankly, is overrated. We have at least one Spanish rider's article at his full name with both surnames, David López García. Does that mean we need to move his to David López (cyclist) or scores of other Spaniards to their full names? No. All are at the names for which they are commonly known. I expressed a certain amount of concern that Liquigas-Cannondale and Lampre-ISD are commonly known simply as Liquigas and Lampre (some of your examples above are reaching a littl bit), but no one seemed to even see the question, let alone reply. Green-eyed girl (Talk · Contribs) 01:43, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Re:BMC
Good lord, it's like a stage-by-stage breakdown of the team's Giro. It is gibberish to me also, and it's far too detailed. I might cut it down to an adequate level which you can then incorporate, if you wish, into your recap of the team's Giro. That would be some way to not bite as much. Cs-wolves(talk) 15:20, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- That's a good idea. Use the newbie's words in my recap. And then leave a thoughtful message on his talk page reminding him that his computer does have an enter key.... 15:30, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
