Misleading edit summaries

[edit]

Writing "fixed spelling error" in the edit summary field when in fact you are doing something else is not on. Mezigue (talk) 11:34, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In the same vein, changes to content are not minor, and should not be marked as such. A minor change would be to correct a spelling mistake, to alter the presentation or formatting in some small way so that it conforms with one of our guidelines, or similar (see WP:MINOR). [edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Jonathanarpith (talk) 14:31, 17 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What's an "Insufficient edit"? Please read WP:BRD and bring it to discussion at the talk page if you object to the change. —Brigade Piron (talk) 21:01, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Moving pages

[edit]

When moving pages, please don't just cut and paste the text into a new article, follow the instructions here and if administrator access is needed to complete the move, request it at WP:RM. thanks – filelakeshoe (t / c) 19:08, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to People's Republic of Poland, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. You have been warned about this and similar issues recently, but you have continued to make substantial edits without seeking consensus. Please engage in discussion with other editors.‎ Nick Number (talk) 13:59, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please see a notice of our policy on edit warring at {{uw-3rr}}. If you are unhappy with the current state of the article, you are welcome to explain your concerns at Talk:Polish People's Republic. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 00:17, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving

[edit]

It's not that difficult to archive, why are you insistent on not providing new archive links for references you insert? Serious question. -- The Writer 2.0 Talk 22:17, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I demand an immediate end to the sock puppet investigation on the account Jets100. I am asking for the deletion of all the accounts associated with Jets100.

Decline reason:

Is that an admission that you are a sock puppet? PhilKnight (talk) 15:39, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I will not admit to sock puppetry but I do demand the deletion of all the accounts associated with Jets100. Please and Thank You.

Decline reason:

The block is imposed for sockpuppetry. and this is the issue you must address. Accounts cannot be deleted, and even if they could you have no authority to request, never mind demand, such deletion. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 19:20, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
