You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The California Raisins: The Grape Escape, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Robert Morgan. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Risky Business

[edit]

Hi Ethan, Why did you move the Risky Business disambiguation page to the main title? The 1983 film seems to be the main topic, and your page move requires disambiguating about 200 links... If I don't hear back from you with in 24 hours, I'll request that the move be undone.

Thanks, Codeofdusk (talk) 01:50, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Because there's other pages which also called Risky Business and I wanted to move the page's name to Risky Business (1983 film) so people can click that they looking for. Greefan443 (talk) 01:57, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Codeofdusk that it looks like the 1983 film is the primary topic of Risky Business and you provided no evidence contrary to that here or especially it should have been mentioned in the edit summary when you made the move. You really should have started a Wikipedia:Requested moves since this is a potentially controversial move. This graph shows the articles, [1], and this table shows the redirects, [2]. The 1983 film was receiving 1,388 daily views while the rest of the articles including the disambiguation page received less than 50 daily views combined. I would advise you to stop fixing the links since this move is likely to be reversed. Aspects (talk) 04:20, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, since there's no good reason I'm going to have Graham undo the move.Codeofdusk (talk) 04:50, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've just done so. Graham87 05:02, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And I've reverted your link changes where they really make no sense, such as at Wikipedia:WikiProject Illinois/Popular pages and File:Risky Business.jpg. I'm tempted to revert the others (in fact I probably will), because they unnecessarily clutter the markup. Graham87 05:17, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ah I see you're reverting them yourself. Thanks, but I can do that quicker with mass rollback. Graham87 05:21, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Graham87 05:27, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rich But Honest moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Rich But Honest, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. — InsertCleverPhraseHere 00:52, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Elaboration

[edit]

Hey, what's up! I just wanted to elaborate a bit on why I undid your edit on Spyro the Dragon, which added the game's Japanese release date to the infobox- to make things clearer, I am fully aware that Spyro was, in fact, released in Japan. However, the game was originally developed and released in the United States, and as pertaining to WP:VG/DATE, infoboxes for video games should only include the release dates for primarily English-speaking countries (the UK, Australia/New Zealand, etc.) and the release date of the country of origin. So with something like Super Mario 64, which was developed originally in Japan, the Japanese release date has a reason to be mentioned, but since Spyro isn't a Japanese game the Japanese release date shouldn't be placed in the infobox. If a "release" section is ever added to the page containing the other release dates for the game, then the Japan release date could maybe added there.

No hard feelings or anything here- I hope that this helps further explain why I did what I did. Cheers! TheDisneyGamer (talk) 15:29, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Cindy and Donna has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable film with nothing found in a WP:BEFORE to establish notability. Tagged for over 2 years.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
