Email me, please?
Hey Parasect,
When you have a second, would you send me an email? I'm trying to reach you. There's nothing the matter, and you haven't done anything wrong, I just want to ask a quick question, okay? :) philippewikimedia.org is my email address. Thanks! Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 21:03, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, I'll do that as soon as possible. Thanks, --Parasect (Discuss) 23:19, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, Parasect! Appreciate that you followed up so quickly. :) Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 02:12, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- One more little detail - I'm going to have Chris, from my staff, get in touch with you for a couple of items. So be looking for that email. As before, nothing you've done wrong. :) Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 02:56, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
Wanna help me with an article or two?
Hiya Parasect! I think it's long past time that I work on some article creation or article/stub expansion... in that, I could definitely use a hand. Feel like teaming up on a long forgotten stub/article and see what we can turn it into? We've also got the Wikiproject you're interested in to get started on.
Also, lemme know if you need help working on the new userpage.

Hello
Hi, I'm a (talk page stalker) of Rob. The answer is that you can use the "black", "orange" and "red". Or you can use the List of colors and find a comprehensive list of colors including the codes for them. :) Have a good day.--intelatitalk 18:34, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- Always here to help. :)--intelatitalk 19:43, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks Intelati! I'm so used to doing exact color matching that I often forget that for simpler colors (or ones someone knows the name of), that you can just use the name reference. Parasect, if the color name doesn't work, simply use the "hex triplet". Inotherwords, black can be referenced as either "black" or "#000000" (without the quotes)... <--- that's just an example, as all basic colors (and a decent number more) such as black, white, red, blue, etc should work for every browser. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 00:00, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks to both of you :)--Parasect (Discuss) 15:36, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Ooops... duh. The colors in your sig just finally sunk in. Those exact colors are referenced as black, orange and red. Nice easy shades of each that correspond to those exact names. :-) ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 18:56, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Re: Pictures That I've never seen done on Wikipedia, and I cant find any reference on it. It might be possible, but I havent run into the code anywhere (yet). I will keep looking though. Best, R ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 20:06, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I suppose I could just find out how to create circles. Thanks, --Parasect (Discuss) 16:15, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)Ooh, circles. Here's a little code for you:
<div style="border:2px solid black;background:transparent none;-moz-border-radius:300px;-webkit-border-radius:300px;border-radius:300px;width:600px;height:600px;text-align:center;wrap:auto;"> whatever you want here </div>
Feel free to play around with the div modifiers, buyt the circle will only work if the border radius values are exactly half of the height and width modifiers. Cheers, Access Denied – talk to me 06:58, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- A little added note: you can use the same type of code to create rounded corners on what would otherwise be boxes (usually lower "....radius" numbers in the 2-24 range depending on how much of a curve you want).
- Here's a box with a smallish curve
- Some text here
- May be helpful in making other page content fit with the circles by being more rounded than square.

Articles
So, what type of music do you like? Do you like comics? Video games? Science or science fiction stuff? Lemme know and let's come up with an article or four we can work on. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 20:06, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
- I guess I like the new stuff like the Black Eyed Peas and Ke$ha, and some alternative like Green Day and Nickelback, and I do like comics (Such as Calvin and Hobbes and Soup2Nutz), video games (Pokemon is my favorite, but I also like Ghost Recon, etc.) and I love science fiction and nonfiction, such as Mummies (which you might already know), and I am obsessed with fish. Thanks, --Parasect (Discuss) 15:38, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
- I'm on onsites for most of the day (taking off now)... I'll be back later tonight and write something more than one sentence then. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 16:54, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

First thing tomorrow? Either that, or it will have to wait till I get to my onsite tonight. ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 23:24, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, my parents only allow me to go on after dinner and chores so I can only make it on at either 3:00 at the earliest and 6:30 for the latest. I hope that will work for you. Thanks --Parasect (Discuss) 23:29, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Articles
Hiya Parasect! So, I've got at least one boring article I am currently working on, and a few I'd like to improve. The one I am currently working on is in my userspace here[1]. As I said, it's a boring one, but it needs a near complete rewrite, a bunch of cites, and a lot of digging to find information about some of the technological advances IBM Printing Systems Division and Ricoh/InfoPrint have achieved as "industry firsts". If you're interested, let me know. I'm not the strongest at content creation (takes me a long time) and could definitely use some help. I'm also interested in improving (with a couple other editors who are involved) the article on the Thor comic book character. Also, please point out any specific articles you'd like to work on, or if you want to start one from the ground up, lemme know and we can start it in yours or my userspace. I'm very interested in history (all sorts), so some of the topics you've brought up definitely fit in that category of interests. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI TALK/CNTRB 04:28, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
- Okay! I would like to work on Soup To Nutz because I'd love to improve that and your article. Thanks, --Parasect (Discuss) 00:34, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent choice! Do you want to start a workpage in one of our userspaces, or would you prefer to do it via chat or email? Let me know what you think is best, and what areas I can concentrate on to help out. Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI | TK/CN 23:17, 18 November 2010 (UTC)
- I;m sorry, but I just haven't been on Wiki log enough to know what you mean, could you be a little more specific?--Parasect (Discuss) 18:49, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Hiya! OK... so, what we could do is incrementally work on updates or do some major revisions. If you think the updates warrant entire new sections, we can create a userspace document in one of our userspaces. Here's two of mine: InfoPrint Solutions Company and Line producer. Once I have completed them, I will be revising the main articles with the new content. As for method of working on them, we can collaborate through the userspace (edits on the main pages, and our discussion on the talk page that gets created with the new article(s)), or by something like AIM. May be best to get started in the userspace and ask others to help out too, since the article is in existence already. And thanks for the Barnstar!!! :-) Best, Rob ROBERTMFROMLI | TK/CN 20:58, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Yup, the userspaces sound good to me :), and you're welcome on the barnstar!--Parasect (Discuss) 21:46, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Pokémanics anonymous
If you are interested in Pokémon articles, you may like to join WikiProject Pokémon, a group of editors who work together to improve Pokémon articles. You can help with our current collaborations and find out more information on editing articles, as well as discuss Pokémon-related information. We hope to see you there! Blake (Talk·Edits) 01:17, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- I just wanted to add, I am a life scout(hopefully soon to be Eagle). Pokemon editors have started to be scarce, and I was wondering if you had any interest in helping us. The Pokemon species need the most help, and if you want to help with that, I wrote a guide to explain how to expand them. A great place to start would be with your favorite, Parasect. Blake (Talk·Edits) 01:44, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- Well, thanks for the tips and I am on the Pokémon Wikiproject. Thanks, --Parasect (Discuss) 02:19, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Celina Tio
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Celina Tio requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TeapotgeorgeTalk 18:41, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template. at any time by removing the

Presumably this only happens relatively rarely. Lindow Man is the featured article in question. Just think how many gazillions of new people will learn about bog bodies as a result. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 03:09, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
