Speedy deletion of "Fito (Skimo)"

[edit]

A page you created, Fito (Skimo), has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thanks. - Sorfane 20:32, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Dane Bernier

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Dane Bernier, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Notability of Saxon Christin

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Saxon Christin, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Saxon Christin seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Saxon Christin, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Your articles

[edit]

Hi Goth67. Your enthusiasm for Wikipedia is admirable: editors who contribute by writing articles are especially valuable when too many here seem to think the place is some kind of adult-approved MMORPG ;) Unfortunately, as you'll know from the notices above, you are having some problems with the WP:Notability policy. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia with policies (rules) on content: it is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Specifically in your case, that means that although the details of fictional works such as books, TV, comics etc (characters, episodes, plots) may be of particular interest to fans, the general articles on these works are usually deemed to contain sufficient information for Wikipedia purposes. Such articles will in any case usually contain links to sites with more details.

No-one likes having to repeatedly propose deletion on someone's work and no-one wants to see this happen to their efforts. So please do bear the above points in mind when creating articles based upon fictional works. The advice contained in this essay is especially useful. Finally, there are editors around with vast experience in writing content who would be happy to help you. If you would like some help, shout. All the best, Plutonium27 (talk) 13:20, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Tavo Nachón has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This does not even pretend to be anything but a FANDOM article. There is no sourcing present in the article at all.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
