[edit]Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Ownage Pranks may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

[edit]Hello, I'm John from Idegon. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Peters Township High School, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 04:26, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Peters Township High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Provide a reliable source for this. This is an encyclopedia, not a blog. By the way, IMDb is not a reliable source. John from Idegon (talk) 04:26, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, Golde62. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia. Per our core policy on verifiability, all content must be able to be referenced to a reliable source that with reasonable effort can be accessed by anyone. That means that it has to be published. What you know is not usable information, as an encyclopedia is a tertiary source. What we include comes from what others have written about the subject. If you find a newspaper or magazine article about the film shoot, feel free to add the info back with a reference to that article. John from Idegon (talk) 18:14, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- I did see that, but since it is user-editeed, we do not use Wikipedia as a source. If there had been a source for the statement in the film's article, I would have added that to the school's page as a citeation, but there wasn't. You need a source. John from Idegon (talk) 20:08, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hi again. The sources have to be reliable. Please read the blue link above to find the definition of reliable. Also please read the message below about signing your posts. Thanks. John from Idegon (talk) 01:49, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:29, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
Donald Trump politician
[edit]As of yet, Donald Trump is not a politician, because he has not held elected office yet. If you have sources that say that, in fact, he is a politician, then please feel free to add them, and I will apologize for my error. Otherwise, please do not add that he is a politician. Thanks. epicgenius (talk) 14:24, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
The possibility of WikiProject Steampunk
[edit]Hi there! I was wondering, since you're a fan of Steam Powered Giraffe, if you might want to support or contribute to WP:Steampunk, a WikiProject that I'm thinking of creating in the near future. –Matthew - (talk) 20:31, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Peters Township High School. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.John from Idegon (talk) 05:28, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
