Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Edmonton Oilers has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 20:08, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Edmonton, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:22, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to List of city nicknames in Canada. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to being blocked from editing. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:26, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Edmonton. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:29, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 hours for Vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so when the block expires. If you feel this block is unjustified, you may contest it by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 22:50, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop replacing Prentice with Notley. She doesn't become premier for another roughly 2-weeks. GoodDay (talk) 04:35, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Canada, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Canada. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Walter Görlitz (talk) 03:56, 20 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Vultures (Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign album), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 08:31, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Edmonton Oilers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jeff Jackson. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:09, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:35, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
