[edit]Hello, I'm I dream of horses. I noticed that in this edit to Dominic Hubbard, 6th Baron Addington, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. I dream of horses If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message (talk to me) (My edits) @ 12:37, 24 August 2016 (UTC)
I dream of horses I was dividing the page up into more relevant sections and think I saved an early edit, the current page should be all good now.
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Please STOP removing "The Right Honourable" from infoboxes of biographies of lords. Could you explain why you are doing this, as there is no obvious reason. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 13:42, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
Gaia Octavia Agrippa Because someone listed almost every peer as Right Honourable even when it doesn't apply. I have cross referenced it with the http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/lords/ site to correct all usages within the Liberal Democrat Lords group.
Right Hons
[edit]Peers below the rank of Marquess are styled Right Honourable, so I do not know why you are removing it from articles DuncanHill (talk) 16:04, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
DuncanHill Not used much in practice and bringing it inline with the full titles listed on the parliament.uk website
- All lords have the honorific prefix The Right Honourable. Commoners who are members of the Privy Council also have that prefix. As for the the parliament website, the title under the section "Full title" is their lordly title including territorial designation. For example, Alan Watson, Baron Watson of Richmond might be referred to as Baron Watson but his full tile is The Lord Watson of Richmond (substituting baron for lord). They are used on Wikipedia so please don't remove any more. I am currently working my way through your edits to revert the deletions. Thank you for taking the time to explain why you did it though. - All reverted/re-added. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 18:05, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Gladstwo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 18:01, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for your other edits. I have noticed that you have edited Liberal Democrat biographies and uploaded pictures from the Lib Dems website. If you have a link with the Lib Dems (which you appear to have), please read the above links to learn about conflict of interest. Once you have, please keep improving Wikipedia! You infobox additions are most welcome. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 18:03, 26 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm DatGuy. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Richard Newby, Baron Newby— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dat GuyTalkContribs 14:56, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
Dat Guy Please explain like I'm five why this is vandalism. I am updating the Richard Newby, Baron Newby page with basic factual information and updated all the infoboxes to reflect the latest information. What specifically is wrong and why you keep reverting the page?
- Hi Gladstwo! Your edits will have been reverted because its a BLP and therefore it needs a reference. Please add this to the main section of the article (with references) before you update the infobox (where you don't need a reference). Hope this helps, Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 18:33, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
