Reverting of edits made on the Chief Justice of Ghana and the Gertrude Torkornoo pages
[edit]Hello Gkbediako, I apologise, I couldn't provide much information in the edit summary as to why I undid some of your edits made on the Chief Justice of Ghana and the Gertrude Torkornoo pages. Justice Anin Yeboah according to the constitution remains Chief Justice until his retirement on his birthday 24 May 2023 when he turns 70 (the retirement age of the Chief Justice and Supreme Court judges as stipulated by the 1992 constitution). Justice Torkornoo at the moment has been nominated by the president and is yet to to be vetted and approved by parliament, after which she is officially sworn in as Chief Justice. Until then she maintains her post as a Supreme Court judge. This is why I undid the edits. If I missed anything or you have any concerns please feel free to reach out. Kind regards. Kinvidia (talk) 14:52, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hello Kinvidia. The reverting of the edits was right. I got the dates wrong. I realized that when I came back to add more citations. Kudos to you for being vigilant. Best regards. Gkbediako Bedigamz 17:46, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

AfroCine: The Months of African Cinema Continues….
[edit]Greetings!
Thank you very much for signing up to participate in the Months of African Cinema global contest/edit-a-thon, and thank you for your contributions so far.
It is already the middle of the contest and a lot have been achieved already! We have been able to get over 200 articles created in over seven (7) languages! The figures soars to up to a thousand, if Wikidata entries are included. Furthermore, there have been about 5 in-person gatherings of Wikipedians in different countries across the world to create articles about African(a) cinema!
We are very excited about what has been achieved so far, but your contributions are still needed to further exceed all expectations! Let’s create more articles before the end of this contest, which is this November!!!
- Article suggestions can be found here. You can also add to this list.
- Some notable reliable sources for African cinema can be found here. Again, this list needs expansion.
- Interested in Wikidata translation? check out the Occupation Drive, which is being led by Wiki Loves Women, in support of the contest and the project!
- Please remember to list articles you have created or improved in the Article Achievements section of the contest page, so that they can be easily tracked.
Thank you once again for being part of this global event!

Speedy deletion nomination of Abena Abedi
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Abena Abedi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Hi Gkbediako, Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please avoid the practice of overlinking. Per MOS:OVERLINK, you do not need to link popular cities and geographical areas. Not everything need to be linked. I am going to undo some of the revisions you made to the Sarkodie rapper article. Also, please avoid MOS:DUPLINK. Versace1608 Wanna Talk? 19:15, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Akua Opokua Britwum
[edit]Hello, Gkbediako. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Akua Opokua Britwum".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 22:07, 17 April 2019 (UTC)

The article Kabutey Ocansey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG, WP:NBIO. Provided references are not independent, I was unable to find more than mere mentions in coverage online. A single nomination for an award of unclear notability does not meet WP:ANYBIO.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 23:12, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!
[edit]Greetings!
After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.
On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:
- Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
- Diversity winner
- Gender-gap fillers
For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. For further inquiries, please leave comments on the contest talkpage or on the main project talkpage. See you around :).--Jamie Tubers (talk) 00:50, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Stonebwoy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tinny (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Ghana, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. →Enock4seth (talk) 19:34, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
2020 coronavirus pandemic in Ghana
[edit]Hi Gkbediako,
Please do not boldface text in articles like you did at 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Ghana. Per MOS:BOLD, boldface is usually used to highlight the first occurrence of the title word/phrase of the article in the lead section. Repeatedly boldfacing text makes articles look tacky. Problem with your custom signature
[edit]You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.
The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.
- Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
- Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
