Please don't vandalize Wikipedia. You can get your account banned if you're not careful. Some of us work hard on this stuff, and your joke is cute but messing it up on purpose makes work for other people to clean it up. Thanks for understanding. Asbruckman (talk) 18:16, 27 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to State University of New York Maritime College. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. There is no indication that these individuals are notable therefore they have been removed. Please do not re-add them without proper references. Cmprince (talk) 14:37, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to State University of New York Maritime College. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Do not add these individuals again without providing sources for why they may be notable. [edit]Reply to your message left on my talk page: Was wondering what authority you have in the Maritime Industry in New York Harbor that you know that I am not known as "The Voice of New York Harbor"? If you would like I can kindly put you in touch with past Commandants, Professors and current industry professionals who would gladly vouch for my notoriety.
- Notoriety is not notability. Furthermore, notability must be verifiable through reliable third party sources. I did search for "voice of New York Harbor" but did not see any links to you. It's also worth pointing out that you probably shouldn't be the one to add yourself to a "notable alumni" list, since that will raise red flags for most editors. Not to say that you can't do it, but if you do there should be a claim of notability and verification. User:Pesco twice reverted the addition in 2009, citing a need for a reference, and I warned you twice in October to not continue to add the claim without providing references, so by now you should be aware of this deficiency. If you still feel that you should be included in the list, please provide reliable references.
- I just noticed that there is an added claim of "stalwart of the tugboat industry." This also needs to be verified by an independent source, and even then, "stalwart" is a POV-loaded term that should not be used in an encyclopedia article. Cmprince (talk) 21:34, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at State University of New York Maritime College, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have not provided a source for your claims despite ample warnings to do so. Cmprince (talk) 23:56, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
