Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Abdoulaye Maïga, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Liga 1 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Melbourne Victory FC. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 10:33, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I've seen so many sources about that one i edited.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 10:54, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(edit conflict) GiofanniRahman - The reason that you've been temporarily blocked from editing is because this behavior has been an issue that's been repeatedly observed and expressed as a concern by other editors, as well as something that you've been warned and talked to about many times on your user talk page. Given the number of warnings and messages you've received by other editors telling you that your edits did not cite any reliable sources and that your future edits like these must do so, it's clear that this issue would continue to occur and that the repeated messages and warnings were not working. Because of this, I came to the conclusion that a temporary block was needed and that this was the logical next step to take in order to get your attention, inform you of the continued issues with some of your edits, and ask that you take some time and review Wikipedia's policies and guidelines on identifying reliable sources and when citing them in-line with content is needed. Should you be unblocked early by another administrator or after your block expires in 72 hours, your future edits need to cite reliable sources when needed (see the guideline page I provided) and failing to do this with edits that clearly require such can result in a longer block being applied. If you have any questions or need help with understanding anything stated within the policy and guideline pages I linked you to, please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll be happy to answer them and help you. I don't want you to take this block personally; I of course didn't do this specifically to target you as an editor :-). However, these repeated issues are disruptive to the project - even if you don't intend or mean to be disruptive. Hence, we need to work to resolve this and make sure that the issue doesn't repeat itself in the future. Best regards - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 11:05, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2020 J1 League moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2020 J1 League, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. 3. América tem ano com maior número de estrangeiros na história e estoura cota (América have the year with the biggest number of foreigners in their history and surpass quota). (Aside from Mastriani (Uruguayan) and Martínez (Argentine), América have bolstered this season with another five foreigners: stopper Germán Conti (Argentine), right-back Raúl Cáceres (Paraguayan), midfielders Índio Ramírez (Colombian) and Benítez (Argentine), and forward Aloísio (Brazilian naturalized Chinese).

None of those players are considered to have a Brazilian dual nationality, they resigned from it once they became Chinese citizens. Plus, they can't go in the section below because, as I've proven to you in several sources above, they do take a foreign slot. BRDude70 (talk) 23:12, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Saudi Pro League about Bruno Viana to Al Hazem

[edit]

Bruno Viana is not a player of Al Hazem. I've been taking it off four times and you put it on. Read here so you convince yourself

Saudi Pro League - Player 9 and Player 10

[edit]

I disagree with the last edit you made. That could be fine until the transfer window closes, but when the lists are closed doing so will not reflect the fact that each team can have a maximum of eight foreign players. I don't touch the edit because I want to see what other users are up to. It would be correct that you check with whoever manages the page together with you before taking action. Spqb82 (talk) 00:24, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

But, there are really no unregistered players until now. For example, Ezgjan Alioski and Ghislain Konan who were supposed to be in unregistered players list after new players came still started in the last matches. Talisca, who is still listed as registered players didn't end up playing. So, the foreign players rule become unclear now. Who knows there will be some changes again? GiofanniRahman (talk) 00:37, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Infact, I wrote to you that it's fine for now, until the end of the market, even if I don't exclude having to add other spaces as well because they could register other foreigners (Salah Al Ittihad).
After as you did, when the lists are final, it will be necessary to go back to how it was before with unregistered players.
For example, Hegazi is injured until December and Al Ittihad will not understand who the eight foreign players are. Spqb82 (talk) 00:58, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Saudi Pro League foreign players

[edit]

HI. I am writing to you because you too have contributed, like me, to developing the page on foreign players. Another user arrives and, with great arrogance, changes all the work done. On what basis did he remove players? Why was the order of the players changed? I'm thinking of stopping here. Let me know your thoughts. Spqb82 (talk) 10:20, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think he just basically made order of players by the greater of popularity which is not right. GiofanniRahman (talk) 10:25, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But it's not just that. I believe the order used is alphabetical based on the country of origin.
He removed players (for example Mostafa to AL OKHDOOD) without a reason.
I am a journalist and I check the news before writing and I am enjoying following Arab football.
Let him update it from now on. If I were you I wouldn't update it anymore. Spqb82 (talk) 10:41, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
He won't update it, believe me. Just let me handle it. GiofanniRahman (talk) 10:47, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok I'm waiting for you Spqb82 (talk) 11:01, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen it and that's fine with me, let's hope it holds up. Only two things, you forgot to put Ahmed Mostafa at Al Okhdood Club and then Goodwing and Van de Crooj should be swapped. The Australian was the last purchase in chronological order. You can see the order of the announcements on the team's Twitter profile.
If not, explain to me why I would like to know too. Spqb82 (talk) 12:53, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay i'll edit it. GiofanniRahman (talk) 12:54, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
HI. As you've seen, he's a bully. It erased all your review even the good work done in the First Division.
However, I would like to point out that Milesi is Uruguayan and not Argentine and that the Ohod Club has also signed up Haris Belkebla.
You can find everything on the team's Twitter page. Spqb82 (talk) 23:59, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the info. I'll update it soon. GiofanniRahman (talk) 00:06, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

October 2023

[edit]

Hello, I'm MikeAllen. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from List of American films of 2024. Redlinks are useful and can often be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" link (in the tools listed at the left in desktop view) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Please only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. PLEASE do not de-link red links. There is NOTHING wrong with it, they will have pages soon (most have drafts already). Mike Allen 00:04, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Squad layout

[edit]

Please, when available, check how is the alignment of each squad layout on big-profile clubs, like FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Lazio and RB Leipzig. You'll understand why have i kept J.League clubs' squad layouts displayed that way. (I update each of the 60 regularly nowadays, with AnggaDesu helping a lot too) I don't think there is a need to change. Maybe the "Type 2" and "J.League DSPs" should be displayed similarly to the way FC Barcelona uses, for example, but i'm already considering how could it be done.

There is not a rule for the layout should be aligned, according to the template guideline. However, from an aesthetic point of view, it really looks better when the squad is aligned with a balance between columns. For example: In a 24-player squad, to put 10 players on the left column and 14 on the right one seems messy and weird, at least for the majority of the readers, i suppose. Aligning then, 12 on the left and 12 on the right seems like the most reasonable option. In a 25-player squad, 13 on the left and 12 on the right seems the best way for me, and the most popular for the squad layout alignment in this scenario. Most of the big-profile club's pages displays it like that. I don't know if there is any issue with this idea by anyone, or by yourself.

If you have an argument that would be valid to the situation in order to correct me, please let me know. (Also, probably i'm using the term "alignment" really wrong, so i hope you got the right idea) I aim to politely assess the situation, even if this is not that big of a deal. So, best regards! ~~ SoftReverie (talk) 19:44, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
