[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in 65th Aggressor Squadron, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. – Recoil16 (talk) 09:37, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

Please read a bit before editing, for example that bolding is a rare feature on Wikipedia, not used to highlight something but almost exclusively for alternate names for an article's subject, those with redirects to it. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:32, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Safaee
[edit]A tag has been placed on Safaee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Blatant Hoax. Sources refer to a different "Safaee" and have been used in this article to falsely promote this person
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
Please note that the topic area of the Arab-Israeli conflict is under an extended-confirmed restriction, meaning that editors who do not have the extended confirmed permission are not allowed to make edits relating to it anywhere on Wikipedia. The one big exception is to make edit requests on article talk pages; otherwise, this restriction applies across all namespaces.— Red-tailed hawk (nest) 04:46, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
...is a very detailed article. It's quite impressive—particularly for someone as new to Wikipedia as you—and it shows that you put in a lot of effort when researching and drafting it. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 03:48, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

Blocked for sockpuppetry
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Unfortunate misunderstanding
[edit]Ghalbeyakh (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I recently discovered that my account has been blocked due to a misunderstanding regarding Wikipedia's policies. Allow me to provide context and clarify the situation. Recently I studied the concept of soft power, and decided to write an article on Italian soft power. While looking into things, I came across some really interesting stuff about how Qatar wields its influence around the world. I've been to Qatar a few times myself, and I find the way they're making an impact fascinating. So, I decided to write an article about it too. I shared a link to this new article with a group of friends, who, being academics and editors, suggested promoting it by including references in related articles. I didn't know that these actions are in violation of Wikipedia's guidelines. I apologize for any disruption my actions may have caused. I request that you consider unblocking my account, as I wish to continue contributing positively to Wikipedia. Ghalbeyakh (talk) 09:52, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Technical evidence makes this explanation exceedingly unlikely. Spicy (talk) 10:33, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Texas A&M University Qatar Foundation Scandal moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Texas A&M University Qatar Foundation Scandal, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can develop the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks, --– DreamRimmer (talk) 13:10, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
