South Station Under
As you're probably aware, I have a habit of going through MBTA articles and lengthening them by adding histories. The three major downtown commuter rail stations have come up on my hitlist, and I'll probably get to them fairly soon. Back Bay and North Station both (rightfully, in my opinion) have the subway station article integrated with that of the commuter rail station. South Station has a separate article which you created about the subway station. I feel it'd be better to merge the subway article with the South Station article; that would eliminate the need to make major cross-links between them, and simplify linking to the articles. However, given that you made the decision to create the subway article separately, I wanted to consult with you before I proposed a merge. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:23, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sure, that's fine with me. It would definitely be best if both articles were at the same location. You could probably go ahead and be bold and merge it if you want to, but going to a "official" request for merging is fine too. Cheers, —GFOLEY FOUR!— 05:10, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Page unprotection
Hi Gfoley4. I wanted to ask you if you could undo the semiprotection for Super Collider (album). I had previously requested semiprotection for it as "User:L1A1 FAL/Megadeth's 14th studio album" (request in own userspace) but I put the article live today so, the protection is no longer really needed. Thank you --L1A1 FAL (talk) 16:13, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Done Thanks for letting me know. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 03:50, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
Guy Bullock
I see that you have deleted the Guy Bullock page and redirect. I found the odd user page User:Ww2censor/Guy Bullock of him yesterday which I did not create but it was set up as a user page. But there should be a page for him with all the material that was there on the user page. I did not know how to move the material to a new proper Guy Bullock page so I just set up a temporary redirect and was going to work out today how to move all the material to a proper Guy Bullock page. If you know how to do this, please do. The person who created the user page had obviously made a mistake in page creation. It would be great if you could sort it out and I don't know how and let me know! Fivebills (talk) 07:43, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

IP Vandal
I noticed you just blocked an editor in the 94.197 range for vandalism of Come Fly with Me. Just FYI, ou may want to take a look at recent comparable vandalism at Doctor Who as well, which was done by an editor in the 94.196 range, and geolocates identically. It may be the same editor; another admin has protected the article, but not blocked the editor. --Drmargi (talk) 19:02, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

Arts on the Line
There's a somewhat contentious discussion at Talk:Arts on the Line#Images needed about the use of fair-use images in the article. I and others believe that the article represents an exception to the normal guidelines against the use of fair use images in lists, while another editor does not. Since you're both an admin and involved in MBTA related articles, iId appreciate if you could take a moment to weigh in. Thanks, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 21:39, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Requesting that the semiprotection for Halo of Blood be lifted, on the basis that it is no longer in my userspace as a draft (I previously requested semi-protection for it). Thanks!--L1A1 FAL (talk) 01:36, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

wikistalking/ harassment
Hi, a user going by the handle Steelbeard1 has been harassing me today and has now openly threatened to commit wikistalking by watching me and following every edit I make.[1]
Any chance you could take a look into this and perhaps warn him and convince him to leave me alone? Thanks. ChakaKongtalk 20:52, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Questions
What would you do if you come across an edit which is glaringly incorrect? How would you deal with an editor who makes an edit that results in an obviously false passage? Steelbeard1 (talk) 10:46, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Try to resolve the conflict on the article talk page, or their user talk page, calm and peacefully. Try using steps of Dispute resolution and coming to a consensus of what the article should be. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 18:45, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I tried to do the latter with User talk:ChakaKong#MGM Music and you can see from his reply to my polite message shown at User talk:Steelbeard1#re:MGM Music that his reply was far from polite. He went as far as to threaten to report me which led to my reporting him at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive794#User talk:ChakaKong in an preemptive move. Steelbeard1 (talk) 19:35, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- This is a rather one-sided dispute, so I don't know if talk page discussions or dispute resolution guidelines are going to satiate editor Steelbeard1. His complaint against me at the Administrators' Noticeboard was immediately dismissed as a "totally silly complaint" and "a waste of time". Their words, not mine. He seems to simply want an apology for something. My best advice to him would be to move on as I have. ChakaKongtalk 19:39, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
- That is not how I see it. The problem I have is ChakaKong's belligerent and unapologetic replies to my letting him know that his edit resulted in an obviously false statement. Even though he did change his disclaimer at the top of his talk page which he created as a result of my dispute with him, it is still a hostile statement. I'm sorry to bother you again but I have reason to believe that user Steelbeard1 may indeed be following through on his threat to wikistalk me. He just showed up in a completely different discussion still insisting on an apology from me. See here and here. ChakaKongtalk 11:20, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- That's because he refused to apologize to me regarding his faulty edit in the MGM Music article and, again, his hostile reply to my politely pointing out that faulty edit which you had suggested was the proper thing to do. Because he got involved in an editing dispute regarding the Black Sabbath (album) article, I had to give my input. I follow all editors who make obviously bad edits. B&A Hudson Branch S-Line template
I just added some cheap substitutes for S-Line templates for the Boston and Albany Railroad's Hudson Branch. I prefer to make legitimate S-line templates, but I'm not sure where they would fit here. Can you help me with this one? I already have it running between Hudson (Amtrak station) and Union Station (Chatham, New York) ---------User:DanTD (talk) 02:58, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
- PS; Why do new messages no longer end up at the bottom of your page? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:01, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
- I created it for you. If you just create the s-line with the with the correct "line" parameter, it should work. There will be some scary redlinks but just fill them in with the name of the end stations. (include Category:New York Central Railroad templates) I also have no idea why this is at the top of the page. —GFOLEY FOUR!— 18:15, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
- I was able to fill in at least one redlink. I also started a list of stations for that branch, although I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it just yet. -------User:DanTD (talk) 21:10, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Adirondack Scenic Railroad S-Line issues
If the Adirondack Scenic Railroad has separate services, maybe that S-Line should be split too. I just changed the right S-line from Thendara Station to Lake Placid Station temporarily, despite the fact that some trains evidently terminate at Thendara. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 22:02, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
