Disambiguation link notification for January 1
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Colombo Electoral District, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Congress. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Edit made to 17th Parliament of Sri Lanka
[edit]@Geoarthouse1124: Hello, thank you for your edit to the 17th Parliament of Sri Lanka article, introducing party and alliance affiliations for elected members. I have reverted your edit for the following reasons:
Your edit included numerous broken links and incomplete data blocks, some of which were left blank. Also, many of the affiliations you added appear to be speculative, lacking exact records or verifiable sources to substantiate the claims regarding elected members. Finally, and most importantly, your edit introduced unnecessary complexity to what should be a simple and clear table. This complexity would make the table difficult to maintain over the term of this parliament.
For reference, previous articles on Sri Lankan politics often suffer from a lack of updates and maintenance. Rather than complicate this subject further, it is preferable to present the information in a simpler and more manageable format. As a comparison, please go over this article for its simplicity and concise nature in presentation – List of MPs elected in the 2024 United Kingdom general election. Best regards.
