for the Bushmead article - the location is inside a particularly important section of remnant vegetation of its type at the foothills of the darling scarp - and the military history of the area between the south east corner of the new suburb and the eastern railway at bellevue is totally invisible on wikipedia - but complex in view of the variety of army camps that were created in the 1940s - but in the main simply dissappeared by the 1960s. Kilgariff and Amoongunna

[edit]

Hi Gebruikersnaam55,

Thanks for creating the article about the suburb of Kilgariff - I have the following comments.

  1. Kilgariff - it is only necessary to have one sentence describing who Bernie Kilgariff is, particularly as there is an article about him.
  2. In respect to Amoonguna, I was also of the opinion that it was located in the Town of Alice Springs when I look at Alice Springs, (compiled plan) CP 5436. However, a look at the following page confirmed that it was not – Place Names Register Extract for Amoonguna. Also, the following page from the McDonnell Region Council shows Amoonguna as being located in its Rodinga Ward - Our Communities.

Please reply on this page if you wish to respond to any of the above.

Regards

Thanks, Cowdy001. I agree with your comments. I have removed the superfluous information from the Kilgariff article.
